Was trying to farm the trinket at the end for the mage in the group and it finally dropped on this run. The only touble I had initially running this was at the end. If you get lucky she only pulls you in once or twice. As you can see here I was pulled in many times. It makes it difficult to get everyone out of the way and due to how everyone is facing I always end up moving some characters manually.
Thanks for watching.

not bad.
if you can, tell me your castsequences for your chars? i had that same build but gave it up and just went with 3 mages shaman healer pally tank once the 5 different classes all hit 70 and caught up to my other team.. the boomkin could never keep up witht he mage/shaman, and i figured mages are easy to work with so just stuck with them, but i have 2 lvl 70+ druids and really want to use em in my teams.
also, what mod is that witht he 5-6 big Boxes ontop of your bars, that light up and make a sound every once ina while? some sort of health notifier?
were u controlling all 5? the healer on the last boss fight kept moving around independantly it seemed like, if its all you, great job on moving everyone around to stay out of blizzard.

That's all me moving around. When she ports you in it's hard to get everyone out quick enough and facing the right way to keep it all going. I have an N52te controller that has all the movement keys assigned to the top row. Strafe left, right, move forward, backward and spread out. The priest has her own follow key so I can place her in front, behind or wherever is needed. The rest are on another follow button. It was the only way I could make certain heroics work. This way I can move the whole group while still running the priest on her own. This is not easy to do when fighting, but helps to be able to do it if needed. For example I can hold one key down and strafe everyone left while grabbing the mouse, getting to the priest screen and manually moving her to be near and in range of everyone else. It's total panic for fights like Cyanigosa, but it works.
The Druid started out really weak compared to the others, but I kept him for Earth & Moon. He's at about 1880 sp with 21% right now. With buffs that goes well over 2k sp. Now he is right near the top in damage. The mage, druid and shaman all do about the same in heroics now.
The big boxes (I made them really huge so I could see them) is Decursive. Since the pally can cure disease, poison and magic it's good to have him monitor this. Just click the box blinking red and it gets rid of the item from the right character. If I get a curse I just move the mouse to the mage's screen and click the blinking red box there. I have a 52" Plasma 1920 X 1080 for main screen and a 26" screen to the right of it with the other 4 accounts on it. See the image below.

It took a lot of time to get the right spell rotation. It's not perfect and your dps goes up considerably when you play them solo, but it works. My 2 button has Wrath (activates trinkets too), Frostfire Bolt (trinkets, combustion and icy veins), Holy Shield (trinkets) and Lightning Bolt (trinkets). This is my spam damage key.
I have stun (pally on 5) along with Moonfire and Lava Burst since you only hit those once in a while. The 7 key is my Pally taunt, Shaman Thunderstorm, Priest fade and Mage Dragon's Breath. This works really well since they are taunted, thrown and stunned to me at the same time the priest dumps aggro.
I had a pally and 4 shamans, 5 shamans and a couple of other setups. They all work and are a lot of fun, but with this group you get all of the good buffs. I was worried the one set of Shaman totems wouldn't do the trick for poison, healing, etc., but it works fine so far. The big priest group heal is what saves the day. She gets to 2700 or so all buffed up, which makes her group heals huge.
Not that it matters, but for the harder instance or for the 25 min Culling of Strath run for the mount I eat food, use elixers and everything else for maximum damage, hp and survivability.
Anyway, I hope that wasn't too confusing.

I just wanna say that was inspiring and awesome, I've been trying h vh off and on for a week now, and slowly making progress (EXPENSIVE progress with repair bills, but oh well). Yesterday I finally got to cynagosa after 1-shotting the 2 bosses (I had void guy and doggie), I did end up wiping on her 3x and quit but your video lets me know its totally doable, I just need to gear up a little bit more and probably use some food/elixir buffs next time I try.
What sucks is if I go in solo with any of my guys in a pug the instance is a joke :(

Thanks for the nice comment. What's great about these videos is they hide all the wipes and multiple attempts at the instance lol. They make you look great!
Gear made such a huge difference with all of the instances. Food and Elixirs did too. Since I have all casters taking the Frost Wyrm Elixir and Tender Shoveltusk food increases sp by 171 per character. That's 684 more spell power for the four casters. That is a big buff that's essentially free if you farm the mats.
The first 5+ attempts I wiped and told myself forget it. Then when you get over it and try it again you get a little closer, then closer, then it doesn't seem so bad. You'll definitely get it. Just keep changing tactics and strategies.
The other day I was able to get it done with the stupid boss who follows you around and you can't let the orbs touch you. I wiped on him a few times, then bound the backwards key to one of my mouse buttons. That did the trick. I left the group on the stairs, then just walked him backwards doing a figure 8 over and over until he was done.

wow thats a huge monitor! lol
thanks for the reply, i may have to dust off my old team again. i've been lvling my tank from that team solo and my boomkin is just collecting dust atm, they just hit 70 a few weeks before the xpack so they're really undergeared for tanking Northrend so i figured i'd lvl my pally RET and get some quest rewards for upgrades.
i made my priest shadow for a few runs to try it out, the mobs die WAY to fast for dots to be effective, he did better dps just spamming mindflay and mind blast, but was still 300-400 loewr than the other classes. and the shaman chain heal only really works when the tank is close to the group which i dont like, so i think i will go back to priest healing.
currently i'm stuck on the 2 instances in Dragonblight, i've done the first 2 bosses in Azjul Nerub, pretty sure the last boss in there is next to impossible unless i change the way i play big time.. and Old kingdom i've got to the boss that hovers up in the air and summons his followers to sacrifice and make him stronger, i can kill the first sacrifice guy really fast and easily, but then when he lands he does that Lightning thing and it fries my whole team pretty much, or i lose 1 guy and then i can't kill the 2nd wave Sacrifice guy in time, and he goes 200% more damage on me and wipes me out. i wiped 10 times on him last night and gave up.
oh and i'm talking non heriocs, of course. i'm only 74 still. >.<
How do you cope/do the Ethereal boss in Heroic VH? everytime i go hes always the first or second boss i get and i usually cant pass him at all, and my guys are decently geared mostly heroic epics/badge/few naxx peices.

Xevozz I think is his name. He's a pain, but like anything once you get a strat down that works for you it can be done. I watched the video of kiting him up the stairs, but this was too hard to pull off for me. What I eventually did was bind my mouse button (it's on the left side at the very bottom where my thumb is) to the backward key. I park the rest of the team on the middle of the stairs. When he spawns I get aggro with the pally, then hold the backward button down and kite him around in a figure 8 in front of the stairs while the group kills him. He seems to die pretty fast, but the orbs and porting you to the middle can kill it.
If an orb gets to him just use Divine Protection until the effect wears off. Run from him at that point and stop dps. It doesn't last too long and you can get right back to kiting him backwards once it wears off. If you get lucky he only ports your group to him once. He dies pretty fast if you wail on him. I'll try to fraps it if he comes up again.
Good luck and keep going after him. You'll get it.

Nice can you give us stats on your monitors and computer(S)
The main TV (or monitor) is a 52" plasma Insignia TV. 1920 X 1080
The smaller is a 26" Westinghouse. 1920 X 1200
Machine is a Velocity Micro. I forget the model, but it's a dual-quad core with 4gb ram, 750gb HD, etc. It does fairly well.
I can run all 5 clients and only get a little lag in Dalaran. With Fraps on it hangs at some points in the longer taping sessions, but it still seems to work out ok. For whatever reason the Culling of Stratholme run makes it creep along. I always end up turning it off to get the run done.
What I think really helps my setup is my connection. I have CableVision and my speeds are consistently multiple times faster than a dedicated T1. It's incredibly fast all the time. I have the same computer at my company with a dedicated T1 and it does not run nearly as fast.
Hope that helps.

It would help you a ton if you would use this in your spamming macro on your tank
#showtooltip SpellName
/console Sound_EnableSFX 0
/use TrinketName
/console Sound_EnableSFX 1
/run UIErrorsFrame:Clear()
/cast SpellName or /castrandom Spellname
This will silence all those errors and get rid of the item/spell not ready popups in middle of your screen.
Hope this helps

I've never really noticed it, but I'll give it a try. I have to get all the addons on this machine too. It seems to be running much smoother without all of the addons though. I just might leave it the way it is, but I'll definitely give the above a try.
Thanks for the tip.

I didn't see it the first time I looked, but I like the aeron chair you're sporting there.

I sure hope you're not playing on a small monitor. You're missing out on a new way to play the game. You'll never switch back if you have the chance to play on a larger one. It makes the game feel 3D. I couldn't imagine the 4 other accounts on a smaller monitor since each one is about the size of a 13" monitor, which is pretty small.
On the larger monitor at 1920 X 1080 you see much more detail when the graphics are maxed than on a smaller monitor. It really looks amazing when you play it. Your eyes look into the distance with the larger monitor, or at least the illusion of distance. I have much less eye strain on the larger monitor than with my old one. It's hard to believe when I started playing the game at launch I had a 19"!
Try it if you have the ability. You'll never want to play on a small monitor again.

another quick question about your setup ;)
how do u like the glass desk, i saw one at office max that i really liked the shape/design of it but it was a glass top like that and i just didn't think i'd like (for a few reasons)
i figured the reflections at night would be annoying (i use a lamp behind me for light is all for reduced reflections on my screens) and my tv is sitting about desk height behind my desk and it seems like it would reflect off the desk or even through the center of it. Do you notice this problem at all?
Also, the sound of clanking when u set things on it, or move your mouse arond does it seem to make any more noise than a wood surface desk?

I have read you can tank him in water, where the ice boss spawns (not swimming, but pretty deep) the adds wont come near you. Make sure to park the dps in back and when Xevozz is about to die drag him out of water or he can glitch on you.
edit: watched the vid there was a couple times where I thought your tank was a goner, nice recovery!

I 1-shotted all the bosses in here today after I saw it was todays daily heroic, contrasted with wiping a lot last week. Best pieces of advice I can give are -
1) do this early in the day, you really want to be focused and alert since its so timer-based (also COT). Every time I do this early I do well, whenever this is the last instance I run I do awful.
2) be geared up. Tank should have 25k hp / 540 def, casters should have 15k hp and 1600sp unbuffed.
3) drink drink drink drink between waves.
on last boss I simply would strafe left or right after teleport, press my follow key to re-orient everyone on boss, while simultaneously taunting/aveng shield on my tank. The DPS group did get stuck in blizzard a few times, but 3x heal stream totems plus my resto shaman spamming chain heal took care of that no problem, never dropped below 50% health really. A geared tank helps immensely in this instance, since you can kind of ignore the tank health for big chunks of time while healing everyone up.
The last few waves are awful, if you get 2 casters in the dragon packs they can take down a person in a few seconds. I had to ankh up on my resto shaman (and thought it would be a wipe honestly) but was able to drink and mana tide totem up to full before the dragon showed up.

No need to get Xevozz in the water. He gets pretty easy once you get used to it. Just bind a key to the back button and do figure 8s around the room while the dps gets him. If they fix the water trick you'll be happy you can do it the other way.
I'm sure others are feeling like I am at this point. Everything is pretty much on farm (except occulus) and it's time to start Naxx runs. Some of the fights will be just about impossible. At least right now. If we ever severally outgear the instance I'm sure we'll be able to do it, but until then the easier fights seem doable.

Once dual-spec comes out I'm sure this will be much easier for me, as is I'm too lazy during my farming runs to respec one of my shaman resto and it hurts me on fights that I need a dedicated healer. Oh well, I have so many dungeons on farm that I really dont need anymore.

It makes the game feel 3D. I couldn't imagine the 4 other accounts on a smaller monitor since each one is about the size of a 13" monitor, which is pretty small.I will second this. When I multibox, I run my main character on a 28" monitor and the other four on a 26" monitor (ironically, not only did the 28" monitor cost less than the 26" did, the picture is much better, by far). It's a lot of real estate to look at, but when I need to find something it's actually easier since everything is larger, particularly when I want to take a glance at the second monitor to see what the group is up to.
PS- you said you're using a dual-quad core system? I assume dual Xeons, then? That sounds interesting. I went back to two computers for multiboxing, but a single workstation-class system would be perfect in the future, since I also like to fiddle with 2D/3D graphics as a hobby.
What method do you use to stop follow on your main when you run in to pull attack something with ur paladin? I see them follow, then as you run in, it disengages follow perfectly. I always thought that would be a pain to manually do every pull.

I use an N52te controller. The top row is movement keys for the 4 followers. Strafe Left, Strafe Right, Backwards, Forwards and Spread Out Formation. When I run into a group I just tap the 3rd key or backwards key and they all stop. I have the wheel on the controller as my follow key so I can just flick it and they all follow again.
