Was a bit harder on the shammans who had done quests with booty bay but, despite lots of level 80 horde killing everyone in BBay, I got it !

They are all level 68 (booty bay bruiser are 67 and so when they swarm you; it's not very easy...)

Thanks ! I had a bunch of death, specially at the beginning (learning the patterns and where to be) - cost about 100g in repairs across the 5 toons.

Heh, I'm also working on bloodsail admiral with my druids. In fact, we even created a guild where only pirates can join called <And Me Mateys>.

I'm almost there. It turns out that if the mobs are not gray to you (you're not 9 levels higher?) then you get 25 per kill. If you're level 80 like me, then you only get 5 per kill. So, if you're not 80 yet and want the title, then do it while they're green and it will only take 1-2 hours. Otherwise it will take 5-10 hours.

And watch out when they whip out their gun... that thing is nasty.

Meh. That's annoying. I can understand how experience would be reduced or go away because of outleveling mobs, but reputation? Oh, we won't hate you as much because you're higher level and so maybe you just are killing our guards by accident. :)

I agree. I think the rep reduction is one of their dumbest rules, but its there. Trust me, it sucked having my friends die and stay in ghost form getting honored before I'm even nuetral. (btw, if you didn't know that you can get rep in ghost form, well, you can... so just have your lowbies die in the area and they'll hit at least revered by the time your 80 is friendly)

I think I read an upcoming patch will remove the rep reduction for higher levels - you may want to wait for that

For me it took somewhat longer because at level 67,68 when I did it; the guards take a little while to kill and I had a few wipes and a lot of pvp gankers; I got bloodsail fairly quickly on my DK who had no rep with BBay and thus was minimally hated by bloodsail; it took another night to get it on the other 4

Sounds ace. I don't see it in any blue posts or the actual current patch notes, but apparently full rep gain for killing grey mobs is live on the 3.0.8 PTR:

Oh, and about the goblins, can you still use the zeppelins if you're Horde and hated by them?
