OK- I've been digging through posts and after playing last night - I'm doing something seriously wrong. I started a 3xShaman 2xDruid team last night. After a couple hours I am level 8 WITH RAF. Most of it was runing around doing the starter collection quests (10 pelts, 10 belts, 10 beaks, blah blah). Should I be skipping those? Most posts here are talking about getting to level 20 in 2 hours with RAF - - - how? I'm going to start boosting with my paladin but i'm curious:

I use Joanas horde guide - maybe I should just do the quests for a certain area to reach that level then move on.....? Any advice is appreciated......help me L2RAF

yeah the way I do RAF.

I link the accounts in a chain. A to B to C to D to E

E is the tail end

E is the ONLY account that does collection quests. This allows E to pull ahead a bit over time. Then as you level you can grant some free levels to account D - A. But yeah definitely skip collection quests on your other toons but the tail end account.

Hope that makes sense.

I felt the same way as you. I never managed the time that most people post on here. I think it typically took me about 2 days played to get to 60 on my teams. I don't think I ever got a really solid answer on how people did it in 1 day. I think a lot was knowing which quests to do and granting levels [and maybe boosting or just doing instances]. I typically followed a guide as well while skipping all the collection quests. I don't think this is the most efficient when multiboxing, especially with RAF. Also, if you don't have to loot then don't. You won't earn much money from the vanilla wow loot and the time you save adds up.

I never did instances leveling up to 60, but I think it might be worth considering.. Doing instances might be decent XP/hour because you don't actually have to move anywhere - I found that I moved around A LOT while leveling with RAF doing quests.

Also, search the forum I think someone posted a multiboxing friendly guide, at least for the Horde.

Cheers.

thanks. I'll look for that guide - i didnt see it prior though. Yeah what would be good would be to take something loke Joanas guide and mark it up for multiboxers.....identifying the quests that are most effecient for a boxer to do. :) You can recrete the guide but you could identify the quests per zone.

Edit__

thanks for the link

My guess is that the 1day times are usually using boosting with high level toon. I usually average 2-3 days (my pallies burned through stuff, my druids are more fragile). The 40-50s are only time where I'm getting bored (need to find better quest zones); otherwise with RAF just when I'm getting bored of a zone I ding and move on. BTW whenever I'm stuck where to go next I use Jame's Alliance Guide. Quest Helper is also very nice as it saves you time from looking stuff up online.

starting areas used to take me 2 hrs too mostly because i had to refer back to a guide as to what quest to take or to do next, where to go, etc. also you may not have an option with regards to collection quests.
so imo your leveling times on starting area really depends on how many times you've been there and reflects your familiarity with the area.
