Ok, so I'm really new at this and I was reading these forums and got kinda confused. This is what I want to do...
I have 2 WoW accounts and 2 computers side by side. Both accounts have level 70 mages on them and I wanted to try and level them both at the same time and do PVE once they hit 80.
What would be the best software/hardware for me to use both toons simultaneously?

Well the wiki faq has options but I was wondering what would be best for the setup that I have.

2 keyclones (keyclone is machine specific with its license) - other than that, read the wiki's and the stickies - they are a wealth of information.

Thanks! I will give Keyclones a shot. I have been reading the wiki's and you are right, there is a LOT of information on there. Thanks again for the recommendation.

I personally use Synergy with broadcasting for my 2 acct, 2 computer setup. Hooray for free!

Multibox or Octopus will also do what you want for free.

Multibox or Octopus will also do what you want for free.I am interested in trying Multibox but when I go to link in one of the FAQ it is broken. Anyone have a good link to get me started on trying out Multibox?

welcome to dual-boxing.com and multiboxing :)
just wanted to link to this post in the Multibox (software) ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=29') thread which is what i'd like to present to you as a reasoning behind which boxing solution would be best considering how much time and money you have:
MultiBox (software) ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=57789#post57789')
just an fyi: ive never used/tried Octopus nor Multibox as they seem to be unsupported now from what i gather from the threads about these tools.
i have used keyclone together with multiplicity though and these two together, best suited my needs and resources (time-wise) at the time. however, i fiddled with AutoHotKey (AHK) and Synergy at first (being free). the tutorials within here are very helpful but i spent more time setting up AHK up to make it work for my setup versus keyclone.
here's a link to the Octopus thread if you're still interested in giving that a go. the third page contains off-site/alternative links to its final revision (some ppl have raised concerns about the links being suspicious tho, so caveat emptor).
[Octopus] Octopus 1.3.8a - .NET / C++ Hybrid Boxing Software ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=8785')

edit: oh i forgot. as a reply to your previous post ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=162910#post162910')- sorry, i didnt find any working links to Multibox via searching here and google. skarlot has probably left the building as his site's been offline for quite some time now.
