I thought I'd report back on the progress of my hunter team. I'm currently in the middle of a switch from paladin, restoshaman, balancedruid and 2 elemental shaman to paladin, resto-shaman and 3 hunters. I'm currently sitting at level 72 (2 days, 1 hour played - thank you RAF :-P) and I must say that this team is by far the fastest I've levelled with so far. This is (obviously) in part because there's only three of them (3 hunters), which means I can do all quests, including collection. Collection-quests still suck, but not as bad, and pet-tank + mana-independence + tracking is a very good combination for questing. For the first time in a while, I'm actually having fun levelling, which is an experience I haven't had since vanilla (I usually hate the levelling part, but actually like the gear-grind).
So far the only annoyance is the low availability of guns in the game and the sound of them. I might actually switch to bow/cross-bow only for the sound, despite the negative impact it has on crit (they're all dorfs).
By the way, does anyone know of a tourguide format guide for the later zones in northrend? I really wish there was kopp/joana used the tourguide-style instead of the metamap stuff.

There are actually two really good guns which should last you a really long time.

I used that on my hunter team until 75 and then got

from Violet Hold and still using that now (Lvl78 ).
I am running a three hunter team as well and they're def. a blast and the damage they put out is fantastic.

Anything you are taking from your previous leveling and applying now? I think I would have started Sons of Hodir way, way earlier, plus focused heavily on doign Icecrown and unlocked Ebon (and Argent) instead of trying to finish off Dragonblight/Zuldrak/etc.
Crazy thing is I still have 50%+ quests unfinished on my main team, just have enough time a day to get in a heroic and knock off a few dailies. So much potential gold in those unfinished quests!
Would love to hear how instances go with 3 hunters, its one of the combos I was seriously thinking of for wotlk - great for PVE, and 3 hunters in a 3s team may be very interesting.

Hey Fuzzyboy, I love you're videos (btw ^^)
So you can do every classic Instance with no Problems, but I would recommend at least 1 Gorilla (ast obtainable is 32 Stranglethorn vale) 4 AoE threat, that's insane but 2 + a wolf would be a great thing. Bears aren't good for Tanking Multiple mobs as the mobs are spreading out around the bear and do not get the dmg from swiipe.
I am currently leveling 2 Hunters and was doing some instances, going to try ZF again on 43 I got the first boss only to 10%.
Don't know about the BC instances but the classic instances can be ruled by 3 Hunters easily.
Argh forget about it , I read 27 xD sry for wastin' your time ^^

Actually I ran directly there to do the quest, haha. It's a great gun, but I doubt I'll be getting the VH gun, probably I'll just wait until the Scholazar Basin gun is available (I think the quest is min. 77). The problem is that I'm waiting for account management to sort some stuff out. One of my hunters is on the same account as my main, so I can't 5-box before they get some stuff sorted and I get my character moved to another account. So no instances for now :)

Sons of Hodir I'll be doing right away, same with Argent Crusade and Knights of the Ebon Blade. Hopefully it'll be less painful with just 3 chars :P
