If you want to go cheap Keyclone is a software program that costs $10 lot less then any Wireless Keyboard, and GM approved. Other then that I can't suggestion any keyboard off hand, I use old PS/2 ones. I'm limited to PS/2 only with my setup thanks to my Vectra >.<
But to put your mind at ease all of us have custom setups, Both software and Hardware. We've been doing it for a long time. Everything you find here is pretty much safe for use and adheres to Terms of Service agreement.

I use the height of cheapness: Linkworld LK-1000 keyboards. I had to return 2 or 3 of 'em before I got a full set of 5 that all worked :P
Once I got 'em all going, though, it works like a charm and only cost $14 each.
