i did some research on the gear to get, but what do you guys recommend?
do i first get the lvl 70 pvp gear or do i wait and go directly to the lvl 80 PVP gear? it's because off the resiliance...
please don't shoot me for this question...

Once u reach 80, any piece u'll get is a good one, so....
Maybe legs and then chest, the savage ones.

Don't bother with the 70 gear, total waste of honor. Just get the 80 gear. imo the 80 honor-only gear is not that great, unless you really enjoy spending a lot of time in battlegrounds farming honor. You can get crafted gear to start, esp if one of your guys is a LW/skinner -- can craft a lot of the gear just to level up, it ended up paying for itself for me since I was able to craft a bunch extra and sell it on the AH for a small profit.
Just play 10 games each week and lose as soon as you hit 80 (with 0 resil and minimal stats you won't be winning), you'll collect 250-300 arena points and the price diff between honor+arena and honor alone is staggering. For example the savage chest is EITHER 60,000 honor OR 12,000 honor + 350 arena points. Of course if you don't mind farming the 200k+ honor for all the pieces then buying them all with honor is great.
Some of the stuff can be bought with badges as well, so getting heroic/10 and 25 man badges (the latter lets you buy the top level gear) is a good idea too.

I've been flitting between buying the savage main pieces (chest leg head shoulder hand) and buying the hateful epic pieces that i will be keeping for a long time anyway.
Make sure you run wintergrasp's VoA 10 man and 25 man raids (seperately on each char) every time you have a chance to - top tier pvp drops from easy PVE content is a 'feature' that no boxer should miss.
One more thing, you may want to consider saving wg marks for the epic titanforged pvp gear that will be available in wintergrasp with 3.0.8 - Helm, boots and trinket with hit rating, i intend to get the boots and trinket, undecided on the helm.
