Me first!

#1 - Finish getting my alternate 15 characters to 60 before RAF gets fixed/nerfed.
#2 - Get my Main 10 to 80 and geared up with dungeons and craftables.
#3 - Start Boxing 10 man raids.

Hmm. Thought my list would be longer, though I guess that is quite a bit since there is so much gearing to do.

1. Get atleast 3 of my 4 teams to 80 and geared
2. Do good in arenas on my shaman team
3. Make 100,000 gold

Right now my goals have become the following:

1. Continue gearing up my first team of 5 until they are in full 80 epics.
2. Level my second team from 70-80 and do the same
3. Clear as many heroics as possible, which is already underway :-)
4. Once both teams are in full epics, 10-box Naxx as deep as I can go
5. Continue raiding as much 10-man raid content as I can possibly handle
6. Level an alt team consisting of any classes my main teams are missing so that I can restructure my class combinations to compensate for future changes or specific needs on hard bosses. (The alt team is nearly 70 already, too)

Hi!

All new but here are my goals!

1: Ding 80 with my first team (5 shamans) before end of first month. (I have a 80 pala to boost through instances)
2: Gear up in 5-man dungeons / Arena
3: Create a solid arena 5-man team and level to 80
4: Use 8 RAF leveled chars to insta ding another 4 characters to 60 :)
5: Buy a new computer set to start doing seriously 10-man boxxing.

Gear up my Hunter and Priest for duo-farming, dailies and soloing with my guild.
Get all my teams to 80, gathering as much as I can and selling craft mats on the AH for gold.
Level up and do instances with my 5 Paladin Team. (Make use of my main tank for solo-play for my guild, which always seems short on tanks).
Level up my Shamen and gear them, to be able to dps 1-4 at a time and fill out empty raid spots for the guild.
Level up my 5 Deathknights and learn to PVP and enjoy it for a change. (PVP on a priest sucks and hunter PVP was only good for me pre-level 70).
Level up my Rogue, Lock and Druid for professions, gathering and more options for the guild. Do dailies with my Hunter and Priest for 5 x Cash.

Level my first team to 80(3rd attempt at boxing zzz). And for some reason not boost with my 80 DK, I want to learn, also have a feeling having a lvl 60 team with no gear/spells/macros etc would be to much to handle

I really don't think everyone who's farming the Storm Peak and Icecrown dailies is having fun. I'm wasting time on 4 DK's now, which i could also put in my shamans to gear them up for S2, but i've had it with the shamans and BG for now. Allthough it would be great to have a wellgeared quadteam, for me, it's not fun anymore to gear them up atm.

So my goals are:
Having fun.

I'm kind of taking a break from wow... breaks don't usually last long, but are sometimes needed.
Leveling teams to 60, as RAF was running out was... draining.
I didn't like the sheer number of collection quests for 70-80, but will probably continue with my shammies in that bracket next.

During RAF I did...
5x Elemental Shaman's to 70.
5x Beast Master Hunter's to 60.
4x Boomkin Druid's to 60.
5x Discipline Priests to 60.
Shaman/Druid to 60, to fill in essential spots for my 2nd mixed team.
Used the granted levels on assorted toons, don't have an under-60 toon anymore.

Goal of 29-30, level 80 toons.
Will probably go...

1.
5x Elemental Shaman and 1x Prot Paladin to 80. One of the shammies will be my raider, so 5x Shammies in BG's and dailies. But 4x and Pally for a PvE/Heroic team; the raider will probably outgear the 4x shammies unless they have success in Arena with a healer.

2.
4x Boomkin with either 1x Druid or 1x DeathKnight tank. Possibly BG gear to supplement PvE/Heroic gear; none of these toons will raid. I like druid tank to make a stealth team, but DK has the damage boost.

3.
5x Hunters for my farming team, which will also run dailies.

4.
Druid or DK Tank (whichever doesn't join Team 2), Shadow Priest, Demo Warlock, Fire/Arcane Mage, with a Dreamstate Druid healer. This is my first mixed team, with a goal of all heroics complete.

5.
Deathknight tank, Resto Shaman healer, Hybrid Rogue and two spots open for the 2nd PvE/Heroic mixed team. Possibly snag a priest from team 6 and go Shadow for one of the two, if Team 6 adds a tank.

6.
5x Discipline Priests to mess around in BG's. Not sure if I'll add a tank to this team and try heroics or not.

(maybe) 1. Try to find a Multi Boxing Friendly Server. (I hate this Ganking, ok the GM's are pretty nice, I'm just 2 boxing to farm a bit money, but it's so damn annoying -.-)
2. Make a few teams through RAF (maybe I'll go 5 instead of 4-Boxing, if I'm going to change the server)
3. Clear 5-Man content (85-95% would be cool)
4. Get a second Boxer to do 10 Man stuff / try with 5 Man 10 Man Stuff
5. Get 5 MBers together (or just a total amount of 25 Chars) to Box 25er Raids (that would be the greatest thing ever :))
6. Get a new Rig :)
7. Start 8/9/10 Boxing , to do Raids alone :)

A lot of "maybes" , that's kinda pissing me off -.- But I guess I'm changing server. Can't handle that anymore.

I just reached Outlands around Halloween and my team dinged 70 this weekend, (yippie!) so my short term goals are;

1. Seeing the rest of Outlands. (Where the hell is Area 52? Don't tell me, I'll find it. ;) )
2. Raising enough money for flying mounts.
3. Experiencing dailies (just for giggles).
4. Clearing normal instances that I've never seen before.

I'm late to the party by about 2 years but better late than never I say. I'm in no hurry to rush out and buy WOTLK considering I'm just now seeing the first expansion. And I have to admit I'm having almost as much fun as I ever did playing Wow. I'm truly having a good time.

Oh yeah...I'm in no rush to move past this area.

I have one goal in mind... After I create 4 shamans and level them to 80, it comes down to mastering multiboxing from a pvp standpoint.

GOAL: Create an extremely long/interesting/engaging pvp video that lasts like a movie, with plenty of cut scenes that will be well scripted and custom animated. With this in mind I will be including a vast assortment of music that is perfectly sync'd with the video (IE: high points with high points, low with low).

To be honest I don't really play the game with goals in mind, I just kind of float through doing whatever interests me, sometimes that will be instances, sometimes questing, sometimes pvp. I used to put forward goals and grind toward them but it kind of stopped the game from being fun, it became work so I stopped that.

if you're looking for something more concrete from me at the moment I guess I would just say that I'm going to spend time rotating between the following teams while I level them so as to take advantage of my rested xp bonus and maximize effeciency.

Warrior
Shaman/Shaman
Pally/Mage
Hunter
Druid
Deathknight

That's about it, I might start a second death knight on my other account so I can dual box them but I haven't decided yet.

Hi guys

I'm new to multiboxing.
Just upgraded my 2 accounts to 5 accounts 3 days ago and I'm having a blast.

1. Learn all the tricks of the trade so to speak (Autohotkey / macros).
2. Getting team 1 (5 shamans) to 80.
3. Getting team 2 (Paladin, Priest, 3*hunter) within the same level range.
4. Buying a secondary machine when I hit Outlands.
5. Getting 3 extra monitors.

hardcoded
12-30-2008, 08:11 AM
1) configuration that I'm really happy with (getting an extra comp to handle wotlk content), maybe some gadgets to reduce time for some functionality
2) level teams on servers that I know people on, especially to 60 before RAF runs out. At least shaman, druid, hunter teams ( 80%ish there), and alt teams for play on crushridge ( only 2 more teams to go)
3) have success in areanas ( failing miserably with 5 shamans, no healer atm, but it's my first season)
4)find a multiboxer and time-friendly guild to run with
5)Stop creating numbered lists, they create a false sense of importance
6)experience pve content, and have the gear to show for it
7)pwn

My current aim is to clear as many of the old world instances and raids as possible with my 5 man team. Once they are done Ill hopefully move onto TBC content then Wotlk. Im in no rush and I know im behind the curve but that is the beauty of multiboxing. I dont have to worry about leveling fast for the sake of anyone else.

1.) Have the three boomkins reach 80. I'm at 75 right now and getting burned out on leveling. I'm hoping to be 80 by next Friday, but I'm not enjoying playing the game because questing sucks while my friends are raiding and PvPing together.

2.) Reach 1800 in the 3v3 bracket with my moonkin team. I think this is a pretty lofty goal and I'd probably be happy with just having a positive win/loss differential. In the old days I was able to get 1980 when single boxing on my warrior, but I realize this is a whole new game with multiboxing.

3.) Be capable enough with my moonkins to not be a liability in raids. Although I have enough RL friends to almost fill out a 10-man, if other aren't as accepting then then it could be tough when I screw up a fight because of the increased difficulty.

Get every Blizzard holiday event complete on my team so I can have 5 310% proto drake mounts. Hollows Eve and Winterfest down, 6 more to go...

Never gonna be good enough in PVP to really care anymore what rating I get. PVE is fun for me, but farming heroics every day is b-o-r-i-n-g after a while. I have a lot (~8) 60s of various classes, but I have no desire whatsoever to level another 5 team from 70-80 again, its just way too much effort -- any further 70-80s I do will be solo leveled, its way more fun (for me). Probably cancel subs and renew in between holidays, and I'd like to level one deathknight to 80 just to try the new class.

I don't have any goals set in stone, I tend to wing it a good bit. My current plans:

Level my hunter and shaman to 80 in solo play.

PL the rest of the team (61 priest, 61 mage, 61 paladin, 62 warlock) to 70 through Outland instances. Most likely with the hunter, since using the shaman would leave the priest out in the cold. On the other hand, the shaman would make an ideal healer later on. Argh, decisions!!!

Once everyone is 70/80, start working the Northrend content, specifically instances. Since I'm no longer guilded or focused on anything except playing on my own schedule, I have no idea how long this will take. The hunter is 78 already because Blizzard has made leveling almost an afterthought. So even with a relaxed play schedule I should have the hunter and shaman to 80 and ready to blow through the BC stuff.

I've never had more fun playing this game! :)I get your point.

But i don't really have such goals. Since they chance every week. Once wotlk came out i wanted to gear up my shamans with pvpgear, so i could do well in arena. I farmed about 150k honor now, and i'm done with it. It's a AoE damage and CC fest which atm, isn't any fur for me anymore.
So i started 4 DK's this weekend, lvled them to 60, with the intention to lvl them to 70 to do some AV. But it looks like AV starts with 12-40 every time. 12 being alliance, what i play. And well, we allready know how BG at lvl 80 is.
So i'm about to log on to my old main, a druid and start lvling him from 70. :P

#3 - Take down the biggest baddest 25 man raid content ever at level 80
#4 - Get 100,000 honorable kills on all my characters for the title reward 'Of the Horde'
#5 - Get all the best PvP gear available on all characters

Right now, I'm working towards a 10 man team to get them to level 80 first. Then will continue with the 33 Shamans to level 80.

decided that RAF leveling was burning me out a lot so i have decided that:

i will be getting my main raiding char to level 80 (my rogue :P)
i will be leveling up chars on other accounts with the view to start setting up a heroic running group. starting with a healer.
i will be getting 4 x DK team up and using my mate as a healer for something fun.
i will be making more goals...

At first it was to 4x box with my girlfriend being the 5th player, but since my parents are fronting the first half of my new car (WRX) & I have to front the other half I had to make major cutbacks going into 2009.

1) Finish last 3 weeks of my x4 RAF'ing. (5 teams done)
2) Start my last x2 accounts (help my girlfriend with toons)
3) Prepare for single boxing & leveling one single toon at a time
4) Return to multi boxing when finances allow.

Think since I've parked my warlock since TBC; first character to hit 80 will be my druid, then paladin, then hunter. I want to tank for some reason.

I currently have 6 teams

#1 4x Shammies (60) 1x Hunter - (60) (resting atm) - got Winterspring Frostsaber
#2 1x Shaman (59), 4x Hunter - (59) - currently grinding Winterspring Frostsaber (once at 60 will swap shaman and hunter in ~1 to make 5 of each class and level to 70)
#3 5x Mages (59)- currently grinding Winterspring Frostsaber
#4 5x Warlocks - (1x 70)( 4x 65) - running Outlands
#5 5x Druid (58)- currently grinding Winterspring Frostsaber
#6 1x Paladin (70), 1x Rogue (60) and 3x priest (60)

my goals are to get teams #2, #3 and #5 finihshed on their Frostsabers and then level all of the teams up to 70.. once i hit 70 i will decide which twams or combination s to level to 80

Hey everyone:

1.) Get my first group: Pally, Priestx2, Warlock, and Hunter to 80 (Currently 76-77), start farming for gear and get them ready for raids.

2.) Level my Deathknight to 70 tank for 4 of my Shamans and continue to 80.

3.) Level my 5th shaman, 71 Mage, 71 Druid with 2 other characters from the following list: 71 Pally, 60 Mage, 60 Priest, 60 Warrior, and 60 Rogue.

If I get all three done before the next expansion or before the servers shut down,

4.) Level my four locks and a priest group to 80.

1-- Finish the following project > 4 teams -each is a set of 2 hunters - they are each on a different server - 2 horde and 2 alliance - they all will be lved to 60 in 3 months from right now.

2-- Along with this will lv alts for each server to 30 for the grant a lv awesomeness!

3-- Do all the vanilla WoW instances... eventually...

4-- Lvl up a Pally, shaman, Priest, rouge past lv 60 > already got the hunter and mage classes down and have no real interest in Warlock or warrior.

Boxing goals for 2009.... hmmm

1- Finish my 3 dks to lvl 80(currently fresh ding of 79)
2- Level mining on one dk, herbalism on all 3 (for the extra silly heal), and alchemy on all 3 for the transmute mastery and trinkets/potions(bonus to potions)
3- leveling up 2 shamans with refer a friend(currently 35)so that i can add one shammy to my: feral druid 3 death knight 1 shaman team.... this will be my raiding/main grouping team
4- level up my paladin tank(59), the two shamans, and 2 of my mages (pally and mages at 59 already) for my second mixed team
5- level up 4 druids to 80 so i can do 5 druid goodness because i love the class.... I've been playing my druid now ever since release and i dont think i could ever give him up! :)
6- Prove all the negative stigma around multiboxing deathknights wrong but succeeding triumphantly

**side rant on item number 6** I've know many people who multibox, and i've heard so much negative when they see me running around "dks? are you kidding me, you're an idiot, roll some shamans or hunters cause dk is a horrible class to multibox" I've rolled hunters tho not to high levels, and i've always been one to say "fuck the standard, i do much better with my own unique style" so i never did shamans. Why are people negative about melee boxing or multiboxing deathknights in general? WOW RACISM !!** lol end side rant cause its getting stupid**

7- succeed in pvp with my 3 dk team in arena, and 5 man arena with my druid 2 dks and a couple healer friends
8- make enough money to buy a motor bike for one of my mains team, a 3man mammoth for another toon(this way my group only needs two mounts to run around lol) AND get my other 4 main toons epic flying (3dk's and a shaman)
9- level up my enchanting on my druid and make 1000 gold in tips in one day doing enchants
10- Enjoy the rest of the pve content to completion, including heroics, and to improve my skills as a player in general :)

11- get laid more lol

1) Get my team to 80, currently at 73
2) Complete all instances in Northrend on normal and heroic.
3) Gear my team up the best I can outside of 10 and 25 man raids.
4) Maybe level up a hunter and warlock....regret not doing this during RAF. Although, I don't know if I can mentally handle leveling post L60...
5) Level up some professions. I have none atm. I will have to do the math and see if it's actually worth it.

10 boxing would be nice, but I don't think I will be doing that any time soon...maybe when I grow an extra pair of arms.

* Max 450/450 Professions on all my Druids (currently 0 will work on it at 80)
* Complete all quests in Northrend
* Raid as much as possible with my team
* Finish setting up my FTL setup - so very close to getting it perfect and portable to other teams easily.

Find the class combo that I enjoy the most... it's harder then it seems, for me at least.

1. Try to get 5 of every class (at least all that will fit on one server), so I can choose whatever class I want.

2. Get each class to 80 (working on technique, to expedite the leveling process)

3. Start raiding

4. Try out the arena.

#1 - Finish getting my alternate 15 characters to 60 before RAF gets fixed/nerfed.
#2 - Get my Main 10 to 80 and geared up with dungeons and craftables.
#3 - Start Boxing 10 man raids.

I've since accomplished #1 and #3, and #2 is nearly done (just need a week for my last JC recipe).

Guess it's time to think of some new goals.

UPDATE STATUS:

#1 5x Shammies (68 ) - 5x Winterspring Frostsaber - Blades Edge Mountains
#2 5x Hunters (67) - 5x Winterspring Frostsaber - Blades Edge Mountains
#3 5x Mages (59)- currently grinding Winterspring Frostsaber
#4 5x Warlocks - (70) - running Island Dailies
#5 5x Druid (62) - 5x Zhevra Mounts - Just Finishing HFP
#6 1x Paladin (70), 1x Rogue (60) and 3x priest (60)

my goals are to get all of the teams up to 70.. once i hit 70 i will decide which teams or combination s to level to 80 - might look at running some Kara (as a 6 man - as my pally is on a seperate account) or just skip and install WOTLK on each account and trawl to 80

Mine:

-Get a team to 80. Duh. My pally/warlock/priest team has reclaimed my love and affection and will probably be the one. They are about to ding 73 while grinding Skyguard rep in Terokkar, so the road is long.

-Equip one team with fast flyers. I got my very first ever, a druid's swift flight form, and realized that YES, epic flyers ARE worth the money! Oh god, it's night and day. So, without losing sight of the first goal, try and level early in Northrend to leave as many quests as possible for 80, sell everything, worry less about tradeskills, and the sky is barely the limit.

-Finish TBC dungeons. Including Magister's Terrace, one that I've tried countless times but have yet to multibox past Delrissia and her merry band of merry bastards. Maybe get into heroics ... but mainly just check off all the regular dungeons.

It's taken a lot for me to figure out what I want to accomplish.

1. Get my non conventional team to 80 and complete as many heroics as possible.
2. RAF up a warrior, hunter, warlock to 60 to give me 1 of every class at 60 or above.
3. Have my second group level up and complete all BC instances
4. Earn enough gold to get at least one epic flapper.
