So wotlk of the seems to have changed multiboxing because of the DK and 5x shammies aren't viable like they used to be. Now i be wondering about the multishadow priest groups, I have been using two spreist and a shammy and will will take a DK once i get a high enough.
So now that spreist can do dps almost as good as a mage (or so i heard) how would this be for pvp and possibly areana?
While i am going to lvl up my three dudes.
So what is the arena viablity of 4 spriest and 1 dk?
would there be any better options to take like 5th spriest or Affliction / SL Warlock?

Try it and report back?
BTW, if you decide to level priests - remember that you're pretty much lolsmite spec until 30 or 40. Mind Flay is feeble when you first get it, and SW:P is a little expensive to start spamming warlock-style. Holy Fire and Mind Blast are both good.

For PvP, as far as I can gather, shaman teams seem just as fine as any other good pvp combination. It's in PvE they got screwed :-)

Yeah i was fooling around with some preist before and my shammies were lvl 45 so i have one right now at 46 and my other priest is at 41.
I love the healing i can do off, it is pretty amazing. I might have to pick up that 4th account later and lvl priest after lvl 80. A 4th account with disc priest (shield/dps) has awsome potential with my three shammies, or can simpley be shadow and have the fun of 3 spreist regeneration.
Its just those shadow priest seem fun, with all the healing just two of them does and since a DK is hardy and does a little bit of his own healing it seems tempting to add more.
I suppose I want to hit some sort of glory days like some of those 5v5 shaman teams got in BC that is some pretty op stuff allright. I have been hearing all this doom and gloom about the once former unstopable power house and the advice of the other multiboxers that claim it is better to only control 3 or 4 in 5v5 matches nowadays.

spriests dont stack well anymore, their group mana battery doesnt stack at all and vamp embrace has been nerfed to hell. their damage is not very efficient compared to a lightning bolt spamming shammy group with a bunch of mana totems or mages

spriests dont stack well anymoreBlackout, at least, scales rather well. Say you have four and open with MB followed by MF. That means as an opener you have 8 attempts at 10% to stun the target, or a cumulative 57% chance.
BTW this can be kind of a pain if one of the MBs gets the stun proc and you don't have Glyph of MF...

Ya that blackout has some interesting possibilities and the dps is good but takes time to setup.
I am going to see how it works with 2 spreist and a dk or lock.
Taking it to the four sounds nice for the stun locking but the diminishing returns could be a killer in the end

I have 4x shadow priest myself at level 70, in pvp its fun.. but really gear dependant as you hit the ground kinda fast against good geared people :p
4x Mind blast + SWD combo is a LOT of dmg
downside nowadays is the vampiric embrace, and the mana dot being nerfed to hell.. no more unlimited mana.
So further then that.. id just go for 4x fire mages, would be the same i suppose :p
Just costs too much mana to go out of shadow form to heal and back, VE doesnt really heal enough anymore to be good.
