Buff checker?

I remember seeing a video from someone in here, where he had an add-on to remind him what enchants/pots/buffs were missing (ie "missing main hand enchant" or "missing gift of the wild" etc. Do any of you know what mod that is, or know of a similar mod?

No, you're missing my point - I'm already using smartbuff. What I want is an add-on that tells me a) what buffs from a list of buffs including flasks, consumables (ie. food/drink), other classes buffs, enchants (temporary weapon enchants as well as permanent enchants on all item slots) and class-buffs (including those I cannot cast myself). I know a such add-on exists, I just don't know the name of it :-)

I can find some buffwatchers (BuffEnough) which will check if most of the buffs are present, so that will solve part of my problem, but it would be nice with an add-on to check enchants and report to /p as well. I'll research more :)

If you are using SmartBuff then why do you need a monitor? I'm curious as to your motivation. Ever since I started using SmartBuff, I've had all buffing on ezmode and don't even pay attention. If it turns out there's something I need that's not in my normal rotation, I add it. (i.e., shadow protection when doing mana tombs or something like that.)

You want an addon that will tell you about all the things you could be using that you don't have in your bags and the enchants that you should be using according to your spec. Kind of a IMBA analysis but in an addon instead. I haven't seen any but I haven't been looking for one. Now I am going to go looking for something like that and waste more time at work. Thanks!

What I'd like is simply a program that lets me specify what to watch and give an alert upon a key pressed in /p which will tell me whats missing. Lets say slave a is missing 1) flask of endless rage 2) enchant on back item 3) socket on belt. What I want is an add-on that'll let me specify what enchants I want in what slots, what temporary weaponbuffs/flasks I use and then report to /p. In the example it coudl be something like I hit a hotkey, which results in:

Nosoupforyou says: I'm missing "flask of endless rage", enchant "xxxx" on cloak and a socket on waist slot. Gief.

It turns out that the video I was talking about where I saw the enchant-checking add-on ([Movie] 5 box Shaman Mech (Totem of the void) Farming ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=60799&highlight=void#post60799') ) was only checking for temp weapon buffs, so I'm still looking for an enchant/socket/etc checker. Maybe I should take up add-on programming :P

There is a drugtest addon that might have somethings smartbuff is lacking, when you say 'socket' there is a website that will analyze an armory profile and 'suggest' upgrades that covers enchants, gems, specs, etc. But it of course was non-boxen raider specific.

Once again I am at work and can't look at the video link. Although night shift is usually very quiet so I will have several hours to wade through the addon sites looking for something.

On a side note I stumbled upon the nUI addon last nite and l really like it.

I use PowerAuras to show missing buffs, you can configure it to check party members buffs aswell.

SmartBuff can do elixirs and temporary item buffs for sure, though wont announce it to anyone but yourself.

InventoryOnPar can score your gear and show you where you are missing enchants at a glance, and mostly do the same for anyone you target.
Or automatically record what your party has, if they are in inspect range, and show you fairly easily.

IOP is a nice addon in any case, good for telling at a glance how good gear someone has (to a fair degree) if you are considering bringing them to a group or raid for example (this statement is not as boxing related as the above lines).
