Ok now I have beaten him a few times before but today is pissing me off. I can't seem to find a good place to stand in order never to get hit by his damn Eck Spit. He ALWAYS leaps into my team which I hide in corner and then proceeds to spit on all of them either killing them or forcing me into healing them and by then he jumps again into them and kills them. I don't fricken get it, did I just get lucky the last few times???????????
I'm ready to throw my keyboard out into the snow this is pissing me off cause I did him no problem last week.
Anyone know a good position to put my shammies in? Obviously a corner hasn't been working. I even try to have them around a corner. I even tried out in the open but it takes me too long to react to turn them if he jumps behind and then my DPS suffers huge and he berserks on me.

someone said place dps in room above... Im not quite sure what that meant, but it sounds like it makes eck unable to leap to them??

I park my team in the corner right above the stairs with their backs to wall, but he still leaps right into the middle of them sometimes and then proceeds to Eck Spit them all. This move alone pretty much kills me. Even if I do keep my team up the time lost to heal is an instant loss to Beserk.

Well I dont bother moving team. I tank him in opening to his room and wait for him to jump with my finger twitching on the "taunt" button. Make sure that you have something to back it up just in case taunt misses. (I use Avengers Shield if taunt misses) I immediately make my shaman chain heal and then spin him around with my tank so they arent getting puked on. I havent lost to him yet. Make sure you use Bloodlust early as he enrages after a minute or so and will be guaranteed to wipe you.

I pretty much just do the same thing use Bloodlust and everything earlier but for whatever reason today he wiped me like 10 times. I just gave up on him for the day.

First thing, he seems to not enrage if you kill him quickly enough, so drop a heroism on the early side to get full use of it. Bunch the DPS up in a corner so he can't land behind them, and stay close enough to them so that your consecration will hit him when he changes targets. Stop hitting your DPS keys (but keep healing) for a second when he jumps. If he spits on the whole team, which he will, simply start spamming AOE healing until everyone is back to full. Until he enrages, he hits the tank lightly, so it shouldn't be an issue if you burn him quickly enough. If he does enrage, pop a shield right away to reduce damage by 50% on the tank.
I fight eck in the doorway to his room, i park my guys to the left side of that small archway/hallway into his room, and face them to the to the center of the wall way.
I pull eck so that hes in the center of the hallway facing either out or into his room. His spit is a frontal cone, so generally only hits my tank.
When he leaps, just be prepared to taunt as soon as he leaps, if you taunt as his about to spit, he still will turn towards your tank. I pop lust and trinket about 10% into th fight after i make sure he is stable on my tank, then just dps him down, he will enrage after a decent period.

Yeah I just need to find a reliable position to where he will never spit on my team and for whatever reason could not find it today. I might try later tonight.

just resign yourself to the fact that he WILL spit on your team and have to group heal at least ONCE. Usually I can get him dead before 3 jumps. 2nd jump I dont bother healing I just continue DPSing. He's almost the same as the boss before that Earthquakes, except he has an aggro reset. Heal through it once and then dps the crap outta him. Make sure no one is dpsing when he jumps (except tank), cancel any dps casting by making everyone jump. Get aggro back on tank and then start beating him down again. Not too bad.
P.S. I use BL before I even pull him, also I use Divine Protection right at start so I dont even worry about healing tank (4 healing totems will overheal his melee damage). That way I can dps like mad until first spring.

but the last time I successfully killed him I had my shaman spread out in a diamond or square pattern in the center of the room opposite the golem, resto closest to the pally.
I tanked the golem in the narrow range between the two rooms ( dps at max range per say ).
in a perfect world you need to get the golem turned around to face AWAY from your team when he spits out the elemental ( this is harder than it sounds ) .
You HAVE to get the pally to hit the elemental ASAP with an avenging shield or at least a judgement before it has fully grown.
This seems to keep the elemental for the most part inbetween the two rooms.
for whatever reason he seemed to spit less at the shamans while so far away from the team... he also seems to enrage less.
move the team left or right once or twice and use healing stream totems x4.
Now the boss I can't finish is the last one in Gundrak.... I hate him with a passion. the stacking 5x dmg and stacking 5x reduced heals just vaporises my pally and if it doesn't vaporise him he looses aggro :(

Read the strats on here for the last boss, I posted about him a while ago. He's cake and I consider him easier than Colossus. Heal lots when hes in Rhino mode and then dps the crap outta him on warrior mode.
P.s. did you mean to post this to a different topic? This one is about Eck the puking murlocky thingie boss.

I was always able to do this guy and so I though they were talking about the one I have so much trouble with.

I beat last boss of this place finally but I had to spread my DPS/Healer out into different corners. It seemed to make a big difference and I don't know why.

Hmm the strat you used is considered bad and this is why. When he is in Rhino mode he charges if you are outside the minimum range, his charge should KO your dps in one shot. This is why you spread out for his warrior phase and then bring him close to dps for rhino phase. I don't know how you avoided his charge, but you were lucky!

To me the key to beating Eck is to WAIT to taunt him until a couple seconds after he leaps. If you taunt him as soon as he leaps, he will come at your tank, then turn towards your dps and spit. If you wait ~2 seconds before taunting, he will still be facing your tank when he spits. I've done this fight at least 5 times now without my DPS getting hit.

i line my shaman up into a square and have all face the center and try to tank him there.
that way if he jumps on someone he can only spit on one shaman at a time.
not always perfect but it works more times than not for me.
I'll try the two second delayed taunt.
Thats what i do now.
Ill set up my Shaman like so,
s.......s
...E...
s...p...s
at the top of the entrace to his room
That way eck is also always getting hit by concecration and i dont have to run to use shield of righteousness.
I kill him very easily, unlike when i first tried and stacked my shamans on top of each other
Edit: Formatting sucks :P

I keep them on the same side just in different corners and have my tank in the middle of the two groups. I have not lost to him since now.
