I have been playing WoW for sometime, and after the release of WotLK.. I had a break with my char (Mage). I did make a DeathKnight to about Lv.73, but then stopped him.

I really didn't feel to level my old main or my DeathKnight anymore. And not been playing them either. Though I am really thinking about making a Priest, since I love healing in raids/ instances on my old Paladin. I quit him long ago as Paladin wasn't my class at all, hated every single thing of them, but I did like the joy of healing.. even though I hated Paladin healing itself.. I did enjoy keeping everyone alive - and healing itself. Something I really miss from my dps classes (mage + deathknight).

I do want to return to WoW again as a Priest. Though there are some things I am kinda concidering.

Leveling is quite slow, and recently I heard about the RAF - Recruit a Friend. I read through all of the FAQ's on the Blizzard website and I must say this is awesome. I really like the idea of fast leveling to 60 (and then further to 80). Though the downside is, on my old main I do not know anyone who is willing to reroll. Everyone is 80 and busy raiding.
Since I do not enjoy my main anymore (or his style, I want healing!) and wanting to reroll.. but nobody else seems to be.

So theres the RAF system, but I can't find anyone to level with. And not sure where to look for someone either (and someone really interested in the leveling together, not some 11 year kid who quits after a day).

To come to the point, I saw that I could use Dual Boxing with RAF. So sort of speak I would just level 2 of my own characters including RAF all the way upto Lv.80. I am just wondering if its worth it though, since I am paying twice the amount a month and I have to buy both expansions again for the "new account". Whereas I am sort of interested in 2 Priests... I mean, it really sounds cool! (2x SW:Pain, Mind Blast, Mindflay and most mobs are death)
Though should I use Dual Boxing to use RAF? Or should I really look "somewhere" for another person willing to level another character too?

One thing to point out though, after I looked up about Dual Boxing it seems to look more and more interesting. I could even level up a Druid + Priest together (since I was doubting a bit about "which" healer to roll) and just level them both. Though im not sure if it would be very easy to do.

Anyways, hope I get some nice advice. RAF with someone else or RAF with Dual Boxing. :)

Edit: And another question to that. If I were about to DualBox, it seems extremely fun to use double Priests (and also very easy) and set the hotkeys exactly the same (since ofc, use the same spells - this makes it really nice and easy too). Would this be the best option too though? Since I only hear about 5x shammy, 5x this, 5x that. And the only time I ever heard 'Priest' together with Dualboxing was with the 4x Warlock 1x Disc Priest.I obviously don't want 5 chars, just 2 (max!). Would Warlock+Priest work too? (though since its all different spells, I think I might get confused fast).

priest/warlock have great synergy;
-both shadow spell casters
1-open with corruption/shadow word pain
2-follow up with mindflay/drain life or shadow bolt
3-wand to death
4-renew when needed

Carry some stacks of water because you'll be drinking for sure but its still faster then waiting around for mana :P

Be sure to use soulstone on your priest for quick recovery and no graveyard runs and use the priest as the "main" so you can click heal etc.

You can ofc, transfer the priest to your main account when its 60, level on from there and cancel the second acount. Then you'll have no need to buy the expansions.

the cost becomes irrelevant once you start playing two characters, you will be having too much fun to notice :P

as for the healer question... most players using RAF take about 2 days /played to level a set of toons to 60 (without rushing or boosting - levels fly by, you can even miss out zones /quests you hated), so in the 90 days RAF time you can quite easily get at least two of each class up to 60, and then start mix and matching combinations to find the best pair that matches your play style

Thanks everyone. I decided to go along with a Druid together with a Priest. Priest as main, though atm im just playing my Druid melee (no downtime/ mana :P) and my Priest on follow with a couple of macro's to easily attack (VA, SW: P, MB, - Shoot). Druid Feral and Priest Shadow for now. :) Works awesome and I just reached 31 already (started a bit difficult to setup everything though, but once I had it running it went smooth).

I'm still wondering if I should stop at 60 and then go further solo and transfer the Druid to my main acc, or continue dualboxing. I think I will actually, solo playing is alot easier too, and I prefer my Priest above my Druid too (though Feral isnt bad at all). Kinda cool too, since I was pretty much doubting about which healer to take and get to 80, but the Druid healing came out really - really boring so far, while Priest healing is super awesome. No doubts now ^^
