So i got these 5 Balance Druids I've been leveling in outlands. Been having a blast dropping an army of trees or 5 hurricanes on unsuspecting alliance. But lately I've had some mages trying to terrorize me with blizzards when I'm not looking and already pulled a nice size group of mobs that i planned to AOE down. So I've been trying to rework how I heal my party.

Ive just been hotting myself up (love lifebloom) but it doesnt feel as easy as plain ol chain heal.

So I tried a couple macros

/targetparty
/cast Rejuvenation

and

/targetparty
/cast lifebloom

sometimes it works great as it will cycle through your party as if your hitting ctrl + tab. Unfortunately sometimes when stuck in a frost nova or something the macro just ends up recasting the heal on the same person over and over.

So I was just wondering how you other druid groups are handling your healing? I also have macro setup to heal each or to heal my target etc. Kinda hoping there is an easy way to spread the massive hots all over :D

/castsequence reset=600 Barkskin, Tranquility
Also a crowd pleaser but the 10 min cool down means its not always there when i need it.

Would be awesome to hear from any other ideas out there for group healing as a balance spec druid.

Peace

Edit: i missed this thread completely How to sequentially cast on your entire party. ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=17644') which has something like what i was looking for.

The problem with only using renew/rejuv is that to me its not quite addequite during bossfights or pulling more than 3 elites at a time.

I use this setup:

Toon A= Tank /feral
Toon B= Healer /resto
Toon C+D+E = DPS /balanced

For questing I go fulll DPS. For instance the tank is in feral.
All my healing is bound to F1-F5
F1= toon A
F2 = toon B etc.

My F1 button on toon A looks something like this (from the top of my mind not copied directly):

/cast [tar=player, nostance] Rejuv reset=10, [stance=1] Rage or wrath.

F1 On toon B (healer)
/castsequence [tar=ToonA] Rejuv, heal, regrowth, heal, heal heal

Toon c+d+e:
/castsequence [tar=toonA] reset=15, rejuv.

To sum of my setup.

A is the tank and its vital that he gets healed. Even though toon C is my backup tank im almost certain to vipe when my main tank dies, atleast that what I have experienced so far. B heals A, and the first time I press a heal on A, everyone cast A. When A gets hit hard, I spam F1 and the main healer heals A more than just rejuv.

If any of the other toons needs healing I have setup the macros so that the toon itself cast a rejuv on it, and the main healer also cast a rejuv. If I spam the healing button on toon b-E the main healer also cast a normal heal.

I have also setup Toon D to be a backup healer on A. Meaning if B is dead, toon D begins healing A with other spells than rejuv.

My problem is, when B is OOM. Then D dosen't stepin and start healing A. I have worked around this, by having my toons begin to cast rejuv on the tank like I always do. When B runs OOM all my toons are nearly low on mana.

since I don't use RAF my toons are still low level, and this setup might not be adequite later on, but for now it works okey. I continously tweak my healing macros as I go along.

Found a thread about how to cast a thing on your entire party, the macro looked something like this:

/castsequence [target=party1] Spell,,,,,
/castsequence [target=party2] Spell,,,,
/castsequence [target=party3] Spell,,,
/castsequence [target=party4] Spell,,
/castsequence [target=party5] Spell,
