Step 1 - Create a team.
Step 2 - Join a match.
Step 3 - Get naked and dance.
Step 4 - Wait to die
Step 5 - Repeat step 2-4 until you have 10 games and quit.
Step 6 - Tuesday create a new arena team repeat step 2-5.

Buy your blue pvp set and realize you are now useless in arena until something changes in the future. Enjoy the bg's and world pvp.

If you don't intend on breaking 1600 just dont do arena, the pts are useless if you don't. Farm heroic badges or honor for your savage gear instead, theres no requirement for doing arena now you can still gear yourself pretty well without ever stepping foot in one, and honestly AV will always be fun anyways.

Those may be good for resto's cause all they have is mp5 spell and res. For elementals you need some other stats. I will get the wintersgrasp helm, boots, and the rest blue arena unless I get lucky at the vault. Then I will wait and see if arena gets fixed. I died today in 2 seconds on one of my guys. Timestamps from being attacked by two bubbled ret pallies anda rogue ambush. My other games were similar. AOE burst dead in under 10 seconds max. 10 seconds is a long match. It was usually much quicker. I did win 1 game lol.

actually you don't even have to zone in - just q up, let the popup window expire, and it'll count as a loss. Save some time zoning/etc. Stupid for sure, but since I'm running 5s as a prot pally, ffb mage, resto shaman, and 2 ele shamans I have 0 chance of winning anyways.

Just banking arena points until I can do something interesting with them, i'm sure there will be welfare gear in the future (which I will use to help me in PVE :)

Also the difference between say 1200 rating and 1300 rating is minimal, its like 280 points vs 289 points or something ridiculous like that. Not even worth spending 200g to reform a team.

Keep your chin up.

Changes are coming. I dont believe they will take a "wait and see approach" and going by the EU Blue's post I would say some kind of change is coming fairly soon.

I am not sure, but is it possible to reach the 1200 resilience cap atm?

I'm wearing barely any pvp gear, and I just stomped some legit teams. Saw a Euro Comp... the priest almost pulled off a 5 second res, omgwtfbbq lame. Luckily I had him on focus. Also faced off against the #1 ranked priest in the world's team, beat them :P

21-9 for the week, 1641 rating. Additionally using a priest and their main ability Guardian Spirit is broken, once that is hopefully fixed and works should be even smoother.

It's on the up and up, just need to grind out some honor for the deadly pieces now that I have the rating to purchase yay.

How does your healer even keep you alive through all the extremely OP melee dmg? One of my guys is always dead with the first 5-10 seconds. In the orgrimar arena place I don't have enough time to set up a focus and get out of the starting area because a DK always drops a bubble there and stands in it... along with the rest of the aoe'ing down my guys.

Guardian Spirit (when it isn't broken) if someone is abotu to die while it's on, it brings them back to 50% hp.
Spirit of Redemption w/ glyph is 15+ seconds of heals after dead.

PVE gear is really strong atm and is what is winning most arena matches. Until they get the dmg vs resil settled.

Pallys,DKs and Rogues are really OP atm.

maybe 4er boxing isn't dead but 5er is for sure,
absolut no chance in arena with a real 5er mb team.

Maybe not much chance of a high rating, but if you really want to arena with a group of 5, it depends on your goals.
Intentional losses, or not trying very much, if you just want the points. Or don't even zone in, as mentioned above.

If you just want the pvp, and to do your best, for the fun of it.
Try to win every game, and as you lose your average match difficulty will go down.
As you improve (rating goes up), you play against stronger teams.
Eventually your rating averages out to your actual pvp skill with your actual toons; on peak times you'll mostly play similarly skilled teams.
The system tries to match you against teams near your rating when possible.
Play peak hours, on the day following maintenance and the day before maintenance so many more teams are active.

To play competitive with a goal of 1850+ (or insert other number), not sure that a 5's team, all controlled by 1 player, can do it.
Even still you can acquire points to be more competitive, for if they do change how arena is working.
