I had some difficulty keeping my low end toon on the totem pole above the other toons, even skipping all collection quests but on her. Sometimes it took me 3 - 4 levels to pull ahead, so I know I have a fair number of free levels to grant, is there a way to see how many?

Blizz should really add this. It would be immensely helpful to know how many you have left per toon. I know, you can just 'keep track' but this is a computer game, shouldn't it be doing the record keeping for you?

Well you can check the total number of odd levels gained on the RAF account, and calculate how many levels they can grant.
Unfortunately, that doesn't show you how many you have already granted.

That's probably the best you can do at this time.

Yes, u get 1 level to grant per 2 levels the RAF char levels, so thats roughly 30 tho i think it stops when u hit level 60

*thats yes to the last post! in case u thought i meant ther is a way

*thats yes to the last post! in case u thought i meant ther is a waywe're trying to avoid "roughly" 30. lol the point is to know "exactly" how many grantable levels each character has to give. but yes, like above, we'll have to manually calculate it.

btw, if you level a character up to 60, they'll have exactly 29 levels to grant.

I know you can't use RAF to pop a toon above 60.... but... if you level a toon to 80, do you have 40 (or 39) levels to confer provided it doesn't pop the lower level toon above 60 or do you stop gaining RAF credits for the higher level toon when you hit 60?

Nope. If you level a "recruited" account up to level 59, you have "earned" 29 bonus levels (59 - 1 /2 = 29). After that, the recruited account no longer earns grantable levels. So, 29 grantable levels per recruitee toon brought up to level 59 is the max. However, you can level multiple toons on the recruited account and get the 29 levels for each of those.

My brother and I leveled a pair of rogues with RaF and we both got our chars to 59 and thought we better give the levels away to one of my toons before we lose the levels. So i got him to give away all the levels, then we went on leveling when we both got to 70. Soon after our RaF was about to expire so i went through all his chars to see which ones could grant levels and just took levels and gave them to low level alts just so they didnt go to waste. And on his rogue i found i could still give 1 more level so it is actually 30 levels not 29 you can grant, taking into account you can grant levels after 60.

Unless Blizzard made a recent change, you may have miscounted somewhere along the way. I kept VERY close track of mine, and NEVER got more than 29 grantable levels.

The toon stops earning grantable levels at level 60, but it started at level one, not zero, so that's 59 earned levels, divided by two, equals 29.5, which rounds down (only makes sense, actually) to 29 grantable levels. I agree that Blizzard "should" make a displayed counter for this, but I doubt they'll bother.

a level 1 character given 28 levels = level 29.

this doesnt make sense as i've granted only 29 levels on each of my 60s.... all iono... 5 times. and all five of them had 29 levels to give.

(60-1)/2 = 29.5... or 29 levels.

unless something's changed... maybe i should do another raf just to find out.
