Keyclone Question

To explain my situtation, I just purchased and recieved my Alienware M17 Laptop. Its going to replace my HP DV9207us laptop. I was wondering if the key can be transfered or paid amount refunded as I just purchased a new key for the M17. Without the refund I will have paid for 3 keys, but only be using 2. I only Dual Box in Lotro as any more would be rather difficult to handle. I do understand that a refund on the HP's Keyclone key may not be possible, but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.
