Your card is probably fine for 5-boxing. However, your English makes for damn confusing posts.

I can't speak to your other system specs since you failed to list them, although it sounds like you could have some issues there if I'm deciphering your...post...correctly. List your CPU, system RAM capacity, and operating system version (i.e. are you actually using Vista 64) if you want feedback there.

No, it just makes you illiterate and means I can't be sure what you're trying to say.

3GB is generally insufficient for 5 clients. 7GB (why 7?) should be much better. HOWEVER, you MUST have 64-bit Windows for it to do any good!

first post says im runing windows vista 64 bit so it can use all 7gigs and 7 cuse the system has 4 ram ports im asuming they have 3 single gig ddr3 sticks and that leavs 1 slot
for a 4g chip

I am a little vague on the intended use of the 4th ram slot on the new i7 boards. But as algol said bump your ram up to 6gb +. The ram is the limiting factor in your hardware configuration.

As for how much power a card is using, the mfg's usually list the max power consumed (in amps) somewhere on thier websites. Check the user forums for your cards mfg. For example the 8800gt used ~ 30 amps at full power. I would expect the newest generation of cards to be maybe 10 amps above that, but I am just guessing.

For your spelling issues, just use a text editor (word etc) to compose your posts. Then use the spell checker on it and copy/paste it into your post.

Happy boxing.

No - it just mentions Vista, not which version. But there's that concern checked off.

I think he's talking about processing capacity like the CPU meters in Windows Task Manager, but I'm not sure.

I don't know if it's built into Firefox or what, but there seems to be an inline one when I'm posting FWIW. Word also has a grammar checker which...well, it's not a complete solution due to the complexity of teaching a computer proper grammar, but it helps.

the i7 chipset uses triple channel ram (installed in sets of 3) so you could install another 3GB 3x1gb or 6gb 3x2gb

A simple google search proved that GPUz may infact do what you need it to do.

if you do infact have a problem then I am sorry that you do but do something about it. Use a spell checker so we can help you. I have heart burn and I take medicine for it and stopped eating spicy foods. My wife lost her kidneys and she goes to Dialysis. If she can do that then I am sure you can find the effort to use a spell checker.

Too bad I do most of my posting at work on an IE 6 browser.... 8|

We had IE7 for about 3 days before corporate rolled it back. Being able to browse with tabs was just too much for corporate IT to handle. They can't even integrate our corporate email into our domain logins. We must log into our email accounts seperately (for security purposes) yet they recommend using the same password as your domain login so you don't forget it. /facepalm

I'm running Vista 64-Bit, with 8 GB's of ram. My ram is 800mhz DDR2, so the DDR3 stuff you have on an i7 board will be faster.
In my experience, the game almost never uses more then 5.5 to 6gb's of ram, even in cities.

I'm using a 4870 X2, for five clients on one screen 2560x1600. I've symlinked the five wow folders, which has greatly increased my performance in cities. My main window has all of the eye-candy cranked up, but the four other warcrafts have minimal settings and max fps of 8 (I believe) while they're in the background. Even with all effects up a fair ways on all windows, running around on the ground did not challenge my system. However, without reducing the effects on my background warcrafts, roughly 1 in 2 flights, one or two of the smaller windows would freeze. As far as handling the video, the card is overkill for warcraft, as is your 4850.

That 4870x2 will only get better with driver updates. This is my first ATI card in nearly 10 years and I am very pleased. Note that my 4870 1gb is half of your x2
