I managed to get EQ2 working, but Dark Age of Camelot doesnt work at all. One client receives commands but the other doesnt.

Have used innerspace to force to front (worked with EQ2) but no luck with keyclone.

I dont know if THIS (http://www.teamwizzy.com/) guy used keyclone but it was definitely something similar.

Anyways, any help would be appreciated.

considering this shot has a lot of keyboards positioned:

he could be doing it the old fashioned way. definitely 1 per pc

have you tried using it 1 per pc?

I have in the past.

I have 4 boxed with 3 pcs back in the day, its just not as accurate as he seems to.

If you watch some of his Ice Wizzy videos back in the day, they all cast at the same time. I tried replicating that, and with multi keyboarding I wasnt able to get that type of response with more than 2 toons.

Maybe I just suck hehe

if you run 1 account per machine... and 1 keyclone on each machine... then connect all the keyclones into the main keyclone on the main machine... then you should be able to do it.

typing into any of the windows would immediately be sent into all the others. assuming DAOC requires the window to have focus before processing keys, keyclone should work fine.... but (again) for only 1 DAOC account per machine... as only 1 can have focus at a time.

Dont have that many machines atm, but definitely something to look into. When I do Ill buy more keys =)

im new to useing software for helping playing multiple accounts.

so its not possible to run 2 daoc accounts on a seperate machine and have keyclone send a keystroke to both accounts simultaneously?

im looking to start useing one of the programs from this site and this would be a deal breaker for me as i can play my 3 computers fairly well with no software. i want to add more accounts which would require alt tabbing with no software which im just not willing to do for every little thing.

thanks in advance.

It is possible but you'd have to buy an Innerspace subscription as well.

Or you could ask Keyclone very nicely to figure out how to lock Windows to the Foreground and add it to a future release.

I'm a noob and kinda dense so forgive me... sounds like Keyclone won't work.

I was thinking about playing 4x DAoC accounts - tank, shaman and 2x pbae on 3 computers.

Is there anyway I can have the 2 pbae on one computer and doing simultaneous tasks ?

I'm pretty much a non-techie so extra money is better then complex answers :)

And since I'm posting ... and looking at a new monitor ... is there anything I need to get in a monitor like extra plug ins or outputs ? I'm looking at the Dell 19" E198FP to match my other Dells. I know its smallish but I don't have anymore room on the desk and I'm still not sure where I'm gonna put the 13" TV.

Oh and is there any reason why I'd "need" a wide screen ?

TIA

I know for a fact that Team Wizzy (Jay) used wireless keyboards. He didn't have the ability that software or even programmable hardware gives. (But DAoC didn't really need the complicated stuff.) You can see in his videos that his pbaoe is mapped to the same key as his insta-stun on his minstrel. When he is spamming pbaoe, he's getting the "no target" error message on his minstrel, and when he does get a target, the stun goes off the exact same time as his pbaoe.

I played with him, and against him, with my Team Animist group. I'm obviously not as famous as he is, but I subscribe to the "lay low" philosophy.

The few times I went head to head with his wizards, it was about 50-50 results. And when him on his Banshees and I ran together, we were unstoppable.

to the above poster, Jay did NOT use wireless keyboards. His approach was entirely software based. He was just very innovative with his methods. And insta stun was on the same number as casted DD btw, casted ae mez on minst was the pbae.

according to jay, he used 8 different keyboards and just hit the keys. Said he was a musician and it was like playing a keyboard.

However, I think he had some form of software as his toons acted very similarly to keyclone usage all casting at once.

As for daoc I was unable to get it working with 2 pcs and 2 keyclones. Not sure why.
