lvl 40 and on ...

I know that is has been talked to death and I've search and read the threads but they all seemed to be more that a few months old. I was wondering if people had any strong opinions to give.

Leveling thus far I quested to 25 or so and then boosted by a friend's Pally in Stockades and SM. Now that they are at 40 I'm looking for my next move. People suggest boosting in BRD or ZF and then on to LBRS or Strat. Some think questing in Searing Gorge and Tanaris would be better. It has been a while since I quested up my main solo so I don't remember all the quests lvl 40+. I'm open to whatever people can offer.

46-48 Hinterlands
48 Badlands (i only run 5 quests here - none of the collection ones)
48-50 Searing Gorge
50 ST if required
50-52 Ungoro Crater
52-54 Felwood
54-60 WPL + Winterspring

the above is an outline of roughly what you should be looking at (Alliance)- i normally end up missing zones (ie felwood) as i'm ahead of the curve - i have run this 4 times and works out ok

Assuming you have a high level boosting you, the moment you hit 56 head to Outlands and start farming Ramparts. With RAF you'll go back to 15-20 minute levels pluse you'll have a good amount of TBC gear which is obviously far superior to any non-epic gear pre-TBC.

At 40 I did BRD (though I think ZF is faster to 45). At level 52 I switced to LBRS until 56. I actually had a great time exploring BRD and LBRS. I hadn't really been through the whole instance in a couple of years and I was shocked at how relatively difficult and massive those instances are comparted to TBC and WotLK. I miss the days of CC, screwing up and wiping, etc. If you pull two groups in WotLK then just AoE more... try that in pre-TBC and it's a wipe.

I just asked this same question, and here is what I ended up doing.

I grabbed 2 ZF quests in Gadgetzan, one for scarab shells, its a collection but its easy, I completed it on all 4 toons in one run. The other quest is called "Divinomatic Rod". Before I went to ZF I did a real quick quest where you kill 10 bandits and 10 thieves, very close to gadgetzan. So after one clear of ZF, and these 3 quests here, I dinged level 44 from just a tad into 40 when I arrived. There is a quick followup to the kill quest near gadgetzan Im going to do next, and then one more ZF run. That should easily ding me to 46. So for a fast 6 levels I recommend this route if you are boosting, Im using my 70 mage which makes it easy and fast.

After I ding 46 Im running the toons over to strat where I will stay until they are 60.

Sounds solid. You plan on doing Strat from 46-60? Speaking honestly, I never ran Strat on my mains so I don't know it much at all.

I will try that Gadget, ZF stop you suggested and then try BRD and Strat and see what's up.
