Okay, I just got done with both. I did'nt know I was in line to do them, I've been switching back and forth between Dragonblight and Grizzly Hills (it's been that kinda day, lol), and I did the quest where you get the scythe...boom, Wrath Gate!

Very well done. I knew it was coming, but this is the first time I really got pulled into the story.

Onward...the quest leads to the Battle for Undercity...again, I did'nt know it was right after...okay, let's do this!

I won't ruin for anyone, but yes, the Battle for Undercity is easily MB'ed. :)

The only downside was some annoying DK who refused to leave me alone, because I would'nt invite him to my party, even though I explained to him it was'nt necessary.

I swear, every Huntard and bad player has rolled a DK, I'm starting to loathe them on sight.

Anyway, awesome job, Blizzard. I'm truly impressed with the entire quest line and how it's handled. For those of you who havent done it yet - I envy you, it's amazing to witness! :)

Agreed.

I was blown away by the cutscene and really enjoyed the following event at Undercity. The tone that has been set for Wrath appeals to me a great deal, Blizzard have done a great job (and so they should, the rich buggers).

The quests in WotLK have been awesome. Some of them are a pain for us multiboxers to do as a group. But I have loved the quests and stories. Some people are so focused on leveling that they miss the greatness of the quests and the stories. I do not look forward to leveling another 5, but I really look forward to leveling a solo toon to 80 and doing every single quest at some point 8) ( going to boost a few toons first, I want my water table! )

Was definitely fun as hell but here are 2 words of warning so you don't fall into the same issue I did:

#1 When I did completed the wrathgate achievement quest on all 5 characters, it kicked off 5 cutscenes at the same time. Besides the fact that it locked my PC up for a good 2-3 minutes while it was loading 5 videos, it started about 1 second earlier on my main than my 4 alts, and since its playing a video not using in-game sound, it played sound on all 5 cutscenes. Was hard to hear what was going on since it was echoing like crazy. When you complete the final quest you might want to do it on 4 alts, escape out of it, then do it on your main and actually watch it.

#2 Battle for undercity - I thought this was going to be quick. Its not, not at all. It took something like 45 minutes. My wife was pissed. I told her I would be done with this last quest in about 5 minutes (we were leaving somewhere) and then I started the event and realized the battle didn't even START for 5 minutes. Then you're stuck waiting for thrall and everyone while you follow them around, VERY VERY SLOWLY. Fun event but make sure when you do battle for undercity you have plenty of spare time. You might also get lucky (unlucky?) and join when its almost over and insta-complete it.

[#1] Talk to the dragon, she gives you a super secret thingamajig. Something to the effect of "Can you show me what happened here?" I'll let you figure out what it does. =)

When I did this my ISP had terrible packet loss & disconnects. I was disconnected a bunch during the event and ended up getting killed by elites over and over. If my ISP didnt fail that would have been fun to do. I spent most of the time logging back in over and over during the Undercity part. I was steaming mad at Timewarner. From about Nov 1 until Dec 5 my internet was FUBAR. It took them over a month to finally get it fixed. This made leveling a nightmare.
