Im about to have an extra 2 accounts for RaF added to 2 current accounts. 3 of them will be under my name, one of under my brothers. Same last name, different first name. Can/would Blizzard ban me for using an account thats not technically mine because its not under my name? If someone reports me and they bother to go far enough to check the owners of the accounts, I don't wish to get screwed and banned right there. Has anyone had this issue or know how to approach it? I can't get a solid response from Blizzard about this.

They can, yes. I believe children are the only accounts considered "fair game" with sharing (with the parents). Brother would be against the ToS.

The accounts, and who's paying for them, are one of the first things a GM investigates whenever there is a report of someone cheating, and that is what you'll be accused of if anyone reports you. If one of those accounts is under a different name then you are in violation....period unless it's your underage child. Other than that there will be no discussion nor haggliing.
Does that mean you'll get caught? I have no idea. I'm sure there are people who multibox and have that same setup as you, and they haven't been caught.
I'm just saying that the best approach is to have all the accounts under the same exact name. Better to play it safe imo.

All 5 of my accounts are on the same name and credit card. No problems yet.

Just do it. Even if the risk was tiny (and I don't believe it is) it would still be too big for me to risk losing it all. You'll be glad you did it, no price on piece of mind and all that.

same last name... then get blizzard to change your first name across and make up some bull about not realizing you can have more than 1 account in your name so you changed your first name to your pets name. then just send a scan of your ID eg passport or drivers licence and they will change the first names to the same name and then problem solved. will be cheaper both in cash and time spent leveling chars than getting a new account in the same name. thats assuming your brother gave the account to you not just using it for RAF.
