My Two Frost Mages

You all probably don't know me that much. I'm Dizazsterz ('http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Smolderthorn&n=Dizazterz') and Dizazsters ('http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Smolderthorn&n=Dizazsters') of Smolderthorn. What I plan to do is level them to 59, then work on my 2x affliction warlocks which are sitting at level 14 right now. Then dump my second account and have the two characters on my second account to grant a level to a druid alt.

I have leveled Dizazsterz ('http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Smolderthorn&n=Dizazterz') and Dizazsters ('http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Smolderthorn&n=Dizazsters') from level 18 to there current level (check WoW armory to see there levels). I have tried a lot of different techniques and killing individual mobs works the best (imo).

When I tried AoE'ing it didn't work to good, and the EXP wasn't the best as questing.. I got level 38-40 AoE'ing in dustwallow marsh and it took me a good 3-4 hours ( a days worth) and it was really boring. And I got 40-45 in a day questing in tanaris. So questing is the way to go.

Talent Specs I Have Tried

The first time I decided to change my spec towards multi-boxing was level 30. I tried a spec that well reduce threat on one, and my main would gain high threat, so I can foccus more on the first character than having to pay attention on the second. It didn't work that good. Here ('http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/mage/talents.html?tal=000000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000000000000003503003310103100000000000 000') is the talent spec of the first one, you can see that I skipped "frost channeling" to increase threat, that was a bad mistake. The first character would have to drink after 2-4 mobs and the second one was at half mana when the first character was at no mana. It wasn't great at all.

I did decide to go fire, it was pretty good. All I had to do was 2x fire bolts then fire blast. It was terrible for PvP though and I was dieing a lot from people 3-5 levels higher than me, so if your on a PvE server fire is probably best for you.

My current spec is pretty much the same on both characters. It works good, offten times mobs well switch between you and your second character so you can kill 2-3 mobs with out even having to pop a second ice barrier. It's also really great at pvP. I have killed a ?? warrior and a red rogue that was level 44 ( i was level 38 ). They were pretty easy. I have also killed a group of three people sitting in front of ZF.. Frost rules!

Tips!

Here are my tips, and some settings I use.
Have Frost Nova/CounterSpell/Sheep all set on round robbin.
Put 3 points into winterschill and frost bite, frost bite has a 30% chance to proc each two frost bolts, killing rare spawns are easy :) In PvP players tend to like to try and kill your first character, so what I do is pop ice block on my first character then switch to the second character and kill him while the first character is all frozen, then when he decides to switch to your second character POP ICEBLOCK and then kill him on your first character. It's like a pickle :O. I find it best to keybind Z and X to turn your second character, a lot of times your character well not be facing the target when you blink.

Thats all for now.
