Hi all.

Anyone else think its worth picking up JC on all characters to do the JC daily quests and get 5x Dragon's Eye? Every day you could make 2k+ imo. All for the initial outlay of leveling 5 characters JC to 350... about 3k gold.

Any Thoughts?

i was actually thinking about power leveling all of the gathering professions across my toons-- could make some mad golds just farming an entire zone for crafting mats.
i don't really know what JC daily you're referring to, i haven't looked into it... but would it really be very productive to power level one profession on 5 different toons? though i suppose you could actually have all of them be JC's AND a gathering prof if you wanted...

Ok heres the theory:

Titanium Earthguard Ring ('http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=56497')
Titanium Impact Band ('http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=56496')
Titanium Spellshock Ring ('http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=56498')
Titanium Earthguard Chain ('http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=56500')
Titanium Impact Choker ('http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=56499')
Titanium Spellshock Necklace ('http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=56501')

All of the above items need 4 Dragon's Eye (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=42225) to make them. Dragon's Eye can be bought @ about 400g in AH or earnt through JC Dailys.

Doing JC Daily gives you Dalaran Jewelcrafter's Token (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=41596) . Which can be exchanged for 1 Dragon's Eye. You also need 6 of these tokens for each pattern, for each item.

You can only do 1 daily. Therefore you can only earn 1 eye per character, per day.

I think these items will sell. And regular people will not want to boost JC to 375 to have to farm for 10 days per item.

The only reason Dragon's Eye's are so expensive at the moment is becuase all the JC's are using the tokens from the dailies to buy JC recipes instead. Once everyone has maxed out their recipes, the only other option will be to use the tokens to buy Dragon's Eye's instead. Suddenly you will have a market being flooded with Dragon's Eye's, and the price will plummet.

JC may seem good now...but it won't last.

Cheers,
S.

Ive made almost 13k gold this week, with just one character ... a miner , a miner herbalist could have made alot more. Farm saronite ore in icecrown, sell the titanium, craft titansteel sell that. Prospect all saronite, use the gems to craft pefects and make sure you pickt he gems that are selling the best out of that color. Also take your eternal earths and shadows, create the JC ring and then DE that, avg de is Greater cosmic, or 3-5 infin dust.

I also picked up all the eternals earth / shadow on auction house, crafted the rings and de'ed them. I made over 1k gold today doing that.

It takes months to get *all* the recipes, literally ~6 months of doing the daily every single day if you want every JC recipe on a single character.
Now a lot of the cuts are rubbish, so maybe just a month or two to get the in-demand cuts.

I won't be surprised if the JC tokens get nerfed.

There is a good size outcry about this jc token situation, it will be changed sooner or later.

My Rogue is a JC, so is my Paladin, DK, and Warrior. I approve of this idea, and don't know why I hadn't thought to do it earlier.

Any Thoughts? Are you saying it took 3k gold per toon to level Jcing to 350? or Was it ~600g per toon? Either way what guide did you use?
