iMac or Clonekey problem, not sure

but one session seems to not respond properly to the option key. In other words, I use alt modifiers and while the option key is pressed the icon does change but the spell cast doesn't.

This only occurs with one session, both locks were copies of each other, down to cut/paste of their macros


suggestions?
