Ive seen links slightly telling people what to do, the normal answer is dailies, i dont like that answer and i wish to know more.
Posting the numbers by your answer would help keep this organized, if you don't have answer put X.
1.) How many toons you have on your team?
2.) How much do you make a day?
3.) What is your main source of income, professions, dailies, quests?
->3.a) If you mainly use professions, What professions?
-->3.ab) Do you gather? Where do you gather?
->3.b) Do you buy mats off auction house to "create" something and resell it?
->3.c) Whats your technique and rotation of dailies?
-->3.ca) Where do you do all your dailies? (I swear there's like 75 of them in wotlk...)
->3.d)So your 80 now and you go back to do quests, are the rewards worth it? How much you make?
4.) Do you use auctioneer to manipulate the auction house for your profit?
5.) Talk about your CD's what cool downs do you take advantage of?
6.)Post your brand fresh new ideas here so we can benefit off them too.
7.) Last but not least if you had 75000g what would YOU do with it?

I made all my money by keeping 100% of the loot in instances (as in 5boxing doesnt have to share or roll on loot), Useing what I wanted, disenchanting and selling the rest...
Second to that is just questing and getting 5x the rewards. Ive thought about doing 5x tailoring and doing cloth cooldowns, but im not that hard up for gold.
1.) How many toons you have on your team? 4
2.) How much do you make a day? ~1200g
3.) What is your main source of income, professions, dailies, quests? Dailies
->3.a) If you mainly use professions, What professions? Skinning, mining, herb, enchanting (on all 4 for ring enchants), Inscription
-->3.ab) Do you gather? Where do you gather? While I was leveling, currently gather mining nodes when I see them
->3.b) Do you buy mats off auction house to "create" something and resell it? No
->3.c) Whats your technique and rotation of dailies? Basically a giant "C" type route for icecrown
-->3.ca) Where do you do all your dailies? (I swear there's like 75 of them in wotlk...) Icecrown
->3.d)So your 80 now and you go back to do quests, are the rewards worth it? How much you make? ~1200g a day, worth it to me
4.) Do you use auctioneer to manipulate the auction house for your profit? Yes
5.) Talk about your CD's what cool downs do you take advantage of? Smelt: Titansteel Bar
6.)Post your brand fresh new ideas here so we can benefit off them too. DO YOUR DAILIES AND STOP SEARCHING FOR BETTER WAYS TO MAKE GOLD, quests * X (number of you) > solo farming mats for something
7.) Last but not least if you had 75000g what would YOU do with it? Level my other 3 quadbox groups and not have to farm for their epic fliers. Then do dailies on all of them... 1200g * 4 = 4800g A DAY

Well at my PHAT level of 22 or so in wow I can give some input as to how Iv got 6 million plat in the bank (and spent like over 10million on my guys) in EQ.
The trade game is knowing the daily value of items and checking things all the time for lowball offers and keeping your items out kinda high and takeing a long time to sell them. In EQ it was professions that made most of my money for me but getting some highly sought after drops didnt hurt either.
My plan in wow is to grab everything I can while leveing (hopefully with aoe leveling Ill have tons of stuffs), sell blues, disenchante whatever else I can, and use the skills to make items in demand. Right now I am kinda resouce driven (i.e. Ill go to a place with lots of mines over a place with better exp mobs ...) and will probably be so for some time. Having all professions helps a ton as one feeds the other (I only make green items when I level up so I can disenchant them, even though they cost more to make then white stuffs).
With 26 guys I will be killed TONS of mobs and while Im doing that i might as well do it near spots I can grab mines and herbs and skins.

I would say, go there : Azerothian Trade Union ('http://wow.toshimo.com/').

That was my thoughts aswell untill i came to northernend and saw that the range between mobs wich makes me able to aoe maybe 5 if im lucky.

I triple box... have one full set of 80's and am now using one of them to assist two of my 70s to level up.
Back when I had 5x70 toons, I would take prot pally, holy priest, and arcane mage through all the island dailies, then swap out rogue and boomkin (keeping the mage in) and run the island with them. Just doing that, I made like 500g a day.
I honestly haven't dug that deeply into the Northrend dailies yet as I've decided that I want to level up my rogue and druid.
As far as the economy goes, I used to do quite well watching trends in pricing and then farming up/pulling from bank alts stuff that was currenly highly valued and just holding on to stuff that was in a down-cycle. If you get a good handle on your realm's economy, you can often spot trends in certain items so you can implement economics 101: BUY LOW, SELL HIGH.
The whole thing with trade skills is that WOW is often very "upside down" on raw materials versus finished goods. With the exception of stuff with CDs (tailoring, transmutes, etc) you often find that the demand for the raw stuff is high cuz other folks are trying to level their tradeskills.
I find that unless I'm going for a specific tradeskill item (say, farming tons of Saronite so I can level my engineering on one toon) farming for mats feels too much like "the ultimate collection quest" which as a multiboxer, I just have to hate... it's in the rules, isn't it? :). Instead, I try to just take my time leveling and farm out the mats while I go, or farm mats while doing dailes once I finish leveling my "b" team.

There are three simple rules to making money in WoW:
1. avoid dying to PVE mobs. A big component of this is DO NOT RAID. Raiding "non farm content" is very expensive in terms of consumables, repair bills, enchanting new gear, etc. For most people, it really is a choice between playing high end raid content vs making gold. Once raids are on farm status you can sell items and stuff to make insane cash (ie ZA bear mount runs for 10k etc) but the first few months, raiding is a big gold drain. Heroics are another issue as well, don't run heroics with pugs and such where you may die a lot.
2. time = money. If you just make 100g/day doing 30 mins of dailies, in 30 days you will have 3000g. Just be patient and do >something< every day to make some gold, and after a while you will have a TON of gold. A great way to make gold is to knock out quests at max level, at 80 you get 15-30g for every quest, and there should be HUNDREDS you haven't done. Many will be collection type unfortunately and boring/annoying, but get'er'done -- focus on a goal, like 5 dailies and 20 quests every day or something like that.
3. don't waste your money. Avoid buying anything on the auction house and instead farm it yourself. Avoid spending money on expensive enchants/pets/mounts/etc. Don't skill up professions just to hit 450, you will spend a ton of money. Patiently level professions with mats you have or from trade channel, instead of buying/wasting mats.
If you follow point #2 you will eventually make tons and tons of money. I have over 20k gold across my 5 chars, and I just recently bought epic flying + cold for my 3 shamans. I got most of my gold just doing dailies in TBC, a few months of it and you are sitting on a huge stockpile.
Focus on a few small goals and try to knock them out every day. Figure out what is more important to you - arena, PVP, heroics, raiding, making gold, pets, professions, etc. If you JUST focus on making gold for a few weeks and just do quests and ignore raids/heroics/instances/etc, you can make insane gold -- easily 1500g/day/person from 5-8 hours of questing at level 80.
The auction house sounds like a terrific idea, especially with an add-on like auctioneer, but its very server dependent and can be time intensive. I've made 10k+ before on the auction house just buying cheap stuff and reselling at higher prices, but I found it insanely boring and felt like I was playing a spreadsheet instead of a video game.

I have never really lacked gold once I started multiboxing.
the money just comes in 5x. I do mining, skining, herbs, enchanting and tailoring on all of my teams but I'm more of the casual miner/herbalist.
I have an alchemist, blacksmith, inscriptions, leatherworking on my main team only.
I make lots of bags and sell them but to be honest, they are at best 5% of the gold I make. I would say dailies used to be my best source of income followed by dungeons.
other than getting the 42Kg so I could get flyers+ epic flyers on 7 characters I don't actually spend that much on my characters. ( I guess I should add another 7kg to that for northend flying )
The alternate teams don't even have the epic flyers, at least not yet.
PRE-WOLK had pretty sad gear that could be made from professions except from the biggest of RAIDS. ( we have some really nice profession gear now :D )

Don't try to farm gold, it just has to come to you. Leveling 1-70 I made 12k gold when i hit 70. I have a screen shot of it when i was turning in a quest before i hit 70 xD, i think its on my old computer tho. This is how to make gold while leveling:
1) Find the best gathering proffesions on the server, herbalism was the best for me.. With multi-boxing its best to have one toon be the gatherer and the second toon to be a tailor/disenchanter or leatherworking/black smith/alchemy
2) NEVER BUY "items" FROM THE AUCTION HOUSE (unless your level 80)
3) Sell all white+ items on the AH if you can. If they don't sell I send it to my bank alt and sit on it just in case the item is ever needed.
4) While leveling it doesn't hurt to much to farm a rare pet to sell. There are many rare pets, you can find more info at http://www.wowwiki.com/Rare_companions
5) Play with the AH for a profit. back when I was leveling you could buy Large Prismatic Shards ('http://thottbot.com/i22449') for 15g then re-sell them for 30g. It may take time to sell your item for double the price, it took 2-3 weeks sometimes for me but it well come. thats why ENCHANTING matts are the best to re-sell since they don't charge a fee
If your multi-boxing 3x+ run instances.. I multi box 2x frost mages so I can't really solo instances..
1.) How many toons you have on your team?
2
2.) How much do you make a day?
50-400 (im level 38 and play arround with the AH so gold could come at random)
3.) What is your main source of income, professions, dailies, quests?
Auction House
->3.a) If you mainly use professions, What professions?
Tailor and Engineer / Enchanter
-->3.ab) Do you gather? Where do you gather?
No
->3.b) Do you buy mats off auction house to "create" something and resell it?
Yes with my tailor
->3.c) Whats your technique and rotation of dailies?
-->3.ca) Where do you do all your dailies? (I swear there's like 75 of them in wotlk...)
->3.d)So your 80 now and you go back to do quests, are the rewards worth it? How much you make?
4.) Do you use auctioneer to manipulate the auction house for your profit?
Auctioneer sucks, it doesn't allow you to make the best profit. I use auctionator addon.
5.) Talk about your CD's what cool downs do you take advantage of?
6.)Post your brand fresh new ideas here so we can benefit off them too.
Make a new toon level them to 59 then recreate a new toon
7.) Last but not least if you had 75000g what would YOU do with it?
I would spend it on stuff I need (epic flying mount, enchants, etc) and stock up on stuff thats needed for events like the Darkmoone fair then resell the stuff when the event comes

I don't farm almost ever, but I feel that I have nearly unlimited gold for the things I really need. I just quest like a madman. When you quest with multiple characters - 5 in my case - you get one reward for each character. 5 minutes to get 25G x 5 on an Icecrown shared daily quest is hard to beat.

Currently I spend gold.
Last time I made gold, I abused the vendor trick with the scourge invasion to grind hundreds of void crystals in very short time. I'm still living off of that gold.

3. don't waste your money. Avoid buying anything on the auction house and instead farm it yourself.
Avoid that sentence, IMO.
It's just plain crap for multiboxers. Because we can farm mats maybe twice as fast as a normal player if it's farming mobs, due to respawns. Mining/Herbalism goes just as fast.
So why would you go back to what single boxers do if you can do something 4 times as good as singleboxers.
Dailies.
Farm them and buy everything you really need off the AH, don't even think about farming them imo.
If you know how to deal with the AH and enjoy it, auctioneer + irl brains are your friend. No need to farm if you know how to use it. I got about 32k banked, made it with JC back when epic gems were just buyable with badges. Maxing every proffesion on your team and gathering reputation/running instances for more rare recipies can make you quite some gold aswell, if you know how to use it.

I make my money mining in icecrown.
Saronite ore is 30-40g a stack on my server, titanium ore 25g -30g a ore.
Most gems (blue) are in the range of 50-70g, and perfect cuts of green are about 30g, normal gems about 5g-1g. I take eternal shadows, and eternal earth and creat crings for my JC to de, and then sell mats on AH.
Ive been making about today about 3k gold.
