Just realised im going to need 30 bars of the stuff and its on 20 hr cooldown. Lucky that the server price is about 400g per bar.
Anyone already titansteeled up their teams yet?

Almost done - just missing one mace, and damn was it costly (4 maces, 1 pair of boots, 1 shield). Now to work on the epic JC rings (4) and epic tailoring cloaks (4). Expensive!

git my shield...but i only need/can use one. so it was pretty cheap for me. plus i had enough mats for like 3 shields already.

I'm definitely planning on gearing my DK up in titansteel stuff, starting with the weapon first probably. I will be forging it all myself though to save costs. I just hope I don't get too bored waiting on cooldowns.
Paladin is almost geared up, Still working on the shaman's maces and badges.

My brother is already 80 and is a blacksmith... seeing as im being slow as all hell leveling up (and i keep changing my characters haha) hopefully he will have time to make me some stuff before I get up there.
How good is the titansteel gear vs heroic level stuff?

I got lucky. My guild moved to Galakrond a few days after the expac came out. I was already at about 420ish mining and had finished Howling Fjord area. The first day we got to Galakrond I was questing in Boreing Tundra and noticed Sholazar Basin on my map, I was only 72ish but desided to go explore. MY LORD! It was saronite and titanium heaven. I maxed my mining in minutes it seemed. I spent a few hours ( should have stayed there all day ) and had a full bag of saronite. tons of herbs on my herbalist. And a few stacks of titanium. I did not see anyone else in the zone the whole time! SO I was making titiansteel right away, and everyday after. I would hit that zone at night and farm the fire elementals in BT for my eternal fires. A few days later, our server was full and that zone was way too crowded.
So I had the helm, boots and shield before I dinged to 80 8) I have 8 bars left in the bank. Now I seem to fave the most luck farming titanium in Lake Wintergrasp on off hours 8) When its not time to fight for the keep, the place is mostly empty.

How good is the titansteel gear vs heroic level stuff?Same item budget, but I prefer the crafted one over the dropped one (Royal Crest of Lordaeron from strath) although the dropped one looks a lot better IMO. Check out:

for comparison. Titansteel is def. your best bet until your crit immune, after that it's a matter of available substitutes until you can grab a raid-level shield.
Still working on getting all 10 of my characters leveled in Mining.
Titansteel factory ftw.

I have one miner that makes titansteel. What I did for the other guys is just grind dailys. You can do 25 daily quest easy in wotlk which makes a ton of gold for a 5 man group. With all that cash I would just buy titansteel bars. I usually paid between 200-250 a bar. I purchased enough to get all my shaman the titansteel guardian mace. Just grind some gold and spam trade WTB Titansteel bars. Before you know it all the titansteel you need will be in your bags.

MY LORD! It was saronite and titanium heaven i thought the exact same thing. in my grind i had found like 40 nodes, about 10-12 of em rich, but only one titanium. ...and then i went to storm peaks. that place is even better.

Did some research so to answer my own question. yes. :(
I may have to look at my professions and drop one to at least get two more miners.
currently toons have the following professions
1 - mining, herbalism
2 - blacksmithing, jewel crafting
3 - Inscription, leatherworking
4 - Skinning (yea, why on earth did i put leatherworking with my inscription ? !
5 - Tailoring, Enchanting
So I guess if I drop jewel crafting I can add two more miners. Does anyone think inscription is worth keeping? I'm at around level 385 now with it. I dread having to level more miners but from what I understand as long as you don't auto-loot each toon can take a whack at the same mine and get points.

To be honest is making Titansteel going to be a great money earner? With the limited items that need Titansteel i just dont see the demand lasting forever. I like having all the professions covered :)

It is needed to make The Hog ('http://thottbot.com/i41508') man! yes.. it will always be in demand. And More recipes will come around in future content updates. And you can bet titansteel will be used for them 8)

Does anyone think inscription is worth keeping? hells yeah. youre always gonna want to use glyphs (anyone that doesnt want to use glyphs is stupid), and since you have an enchanting char, youll be able to use those vellums and give enchants for your other chars (not just your MB team).

inscription gives the nice 67 spell power shoulder enchant, but other than that it doesnt seem to make much money for me.

titansteel is imo not going to be a great moneymaker -- the price of xmutes has gone from 100g on my server down to 30g last night, the price of bars has gone from 500g to under 200g in a week. This is on blackrock though which is a high pop high end server (like 20+ guilds clearing Naxx25), frozen orbs sell for < 20g now. What is in decent demand is dragon eyes, so imo JCs are the most "valuable" profession at the moment.
and imo the titansteel mace is great for shamans, the shield is great for the tanks. The rest of the BS crafted items are weak for tanks, I wouldn't bother with the helm/boots/legs. The JC neck is very weak for casters and tanks (the tank neck is a joke, you can buy the Burning Pendant or whatever on the AH for 30g and its better in many ways). The ring is decent for casters, the tank ring is not great.
