Can anyone point me to a multibox friendly server? I just had all three of my RAF accounts (and one normal) banned by the idiot GM on my server. I logged on another account to ask why and was told using 3rd party software to automate gameplay (keyclone) was against TOS. I pointed him to the official forums, but was told that he had the discretion and I would stay banned. Just because someone else allowed it didnt mean that he had to allow it. Meh, will petition but dont have alot of hope in getting it back.
I am now going to buy another 3 cd keys and start over, so any server advice would be greatly appreciated.

Wouldn't be so sure. We've had people on this very forum get banned in the same way -- GM claims there was automation, they emailed account administration explaining their situation, account admin reactivated their accounts. Apparently this happened twice to that person.
Another suspect might be a keylogger or virus you aren't aware that you have. It's always smart to do a virus scan if someone's claiming you're running software that you didn't know you had.

You will get the account's back as long as u didnt use actual automation software. Its been stated hundreds of times that keyclone is legal to use. You will have to contact Blizzard customer services. It may take them a few days to organise it for u.

There's an e-mail address also for GM feedback. You'll never hear a result, but it doesn't hurt to submit feedback to the GM's supervisor. The GM is apparently ignorant of his employer's policy and personally biased. I'd report him.
Just on a note: I complained about the GM's on the CS forum once, since then, I've never received an answer to any question I've posted there from the GM staff where before they were helpful, so idk, GM's can be vindicitve pricks imo.

What server?
It would be prudent to avoid an unfriendly GM.

GMs are NOT server specific. Any GM can be on ANY server.

Anyone ever have this type of ban happen while doing hardware boxing? The only software in my mix is Synergy.

OP, did you have the same name on all the accounts? Do you own them all?

1. The only software I use is keyclone.
2. Server name is Frostwhisper (EU)
3. I myself created all three accounts. I use the same credit card to pay for them all. The information is identical in all respects. Even the account names is identical except for a digit at the end.

I am now going to buy another 3 cd keys and start over, so any server advice would be greatly appreciated.A GM cant have the discretion of whether something is ok or not if the company he works for says its ok. either you need to find the 3rd party program that's getting picked up and delete it, or you need to petition it with the company and skip talking with the GM himself.
if you did use a program to automate your keystrokes, then its not keyclone. perhaps it was something else. i would scan my computer though just to be double-sure.

In pretty much any case, it's an issue of the GM not understanding the difference between multiboxing (in general) and automation.

Im quite paranoid about stuff on my computer, so its scanned daily during downtime. I also run a firewall (software + hardware), antivirus as well as spybot resident guard. I also avoid all dodgy sites. In the times that I browse the web I dualboot into linux. Having said that, it might be possible that I might have something undetectable, but that did not lead to my ban.
My ban was brought on by being observed running 3 accounts that did things at the exact same time (keyclone). I have now bought new accounts and before I started leveling I talked to a GM on the new server who told me that they have alot of boxers on the server, and that they do not have any problems with it. I have however received a mail in response to my mail to blizz, saying that they will investigate and get back to me.

They all have the SAME rules. They did NOT ban you for keyclone. If they did, lets see the ban email.

Update: Got my accounts re-instated today. Pretty much decided to move on to another server.
At the poster above. At no stage did I mention that keyclone isnt allowed. I am sorry if you read it that way, the intention behind this post was purely to ask the name of a server that is friendly to multi-boxers. I simply had the bad luck to run into a GM that either wasnt aware of the policy, or maybe he was new, or maybe he has a beef with multi-boxers. I simply do not know. All I wanted was to play on a server without being harrassed by a GM for whatever reason. I get enough of that from other players.
Ninja Edit: I never said that servers has specific policy regarding multi-boxers. But you have to agree that certain servers has better/nicer GM's than others.

They are supposed to follow rules, but they aren't the first and only stop when it comes to bans. Thats what account admin is for :D

Our only defense is our strict adherence to ToS Policy and each other.
Excellent post and update.
Also KeyClone is worth every penny because the author continuously updates the product to follow blizzards constant ToS changes.
*applauds the author of keyclone*
