Sometimes autofollow isn't a good thing.

Heh, there is an Alliance quest in Howling Fjord that involves a harpoon and a cliff. Let's just say I managed to kill 2 of my toons because they were still following when my main clicked the object.

Trying to get back to your body when it is halfway up one of those cliffs is not fun...

basically did the same thing awhile ago. Was in Northrend and mounted my epic flier on my main and took off flying, well i had keyclone paused atm so my other 3 didn't mount and went off a cliff...

<3 reincarnation + waterwalking saved me a lot of time there.

<3 reincarnation + waterwalking saved me a lot of time there.Yea, I res'd, waterewalked, healed, mana'd up... then jumped down the waterfall without thinking... water was plenty deep... and I sank after I hit.

Accepting a quest on my main in the Basin at some angry Frenzyheart next to a cliff. He throw my main into the pond down the cliff. My alts were on follow and walked off of the cliff to their deaths.

As to the OP's screenshot. Why do you /follow in a train with so many characters.

Apart from the fact it looks cool, it is totally not practical! You'd have to go so wide at every corner and what not. I can not imagine you got any level with so many chars in a follow train. :P

They all follow one leader, its lag that makes them seperate like that.
