Hi all,

I am currently leveling up my DK to tank for my 4 man shammy group. Due work related complications, I am not able to use all 5 accounts at this time for the next month or so and am stuck with using just 2. As everyone is trying to level a DK right now, healers are in short supply for instance running and I find myself having to one of my 70 shammies to heal through the instances. I also have a 70 pally that is rather well geared, about twice the +healing of my shammy. My question is which do you think would be better to help heal through instances dual boxing, The holy paladin or resto shaman? Chain heal is great for when the party starts taking damage, but with the new pally beacon heal, wouldnt that do just as well? or would I be losing too much synergy with the shaman with windfury totem, etc?

Any previous experience or opinions would help. Thanks.

Well by the same note, neither can cast Mass Dispel. There are four healing classes, and they all bring different things. Otherwise you'd have one healing class with four different names, and that would be pretty boring.

My preference runs towards having multiple classes leveled to choose from. Then you swap around beween them and find what you feel best with, and can swap in a different one situationaly if you desire.

I was running with 1 prot warrior 3 shamans 1 holy paladin for the last few months of BC. Worked out really well tbh. Just had the pally pretty much spam FoL on the tank the whole time and since pallies never run out of mana with FoL spam I hardly ever even had to worry about healing on my tank. Simply had my shammies pop a 3 way Chain Heal when the group took AoE dmg and a shift modifier for my pally to cast HL should my tank actually drop low enough for me to use it. DPS was a bit slower than having a 4th dpser but again never really having to focus too intently on my warrior's health was quite nice. If I had to do it over again I probably wouldn't of bothered to level up the 4th shammy.
