So I downloaded keyclone from here. And it looks nice, but I have to buy it without trying it out?

No free trial?

And once i ran it there is an icon in my system tray, and I can't get rid of it.

Tasl Manager can't get rid of it, and clicking it does nothing.

Whats this for?

I love the idea here, but I don't want to pay for something without trying it out.

There is no free trial.

Try right clicking the tray icon? Closing the program instead of minimizing it should get rid of the icon too.

So no trial, ok a lot of people here use it and I didn't see any complaint posts at all.

It just sucks, I don't use paypal often and there is only $16 there, it will take 3-5 days to get more on there :(

But the System Tray icon, I figured it out eventually. A vista issue.

Keyclone is great because of the ease of configuration. If you want it to work with as little input from you as possible - then pay the $20. I don't think you will regret it.

There are several free options - you just have to put a little more into them to get the same amount out (in most cases you can get more out of them).

I am personally using Innerspace by Lavishsoft.com and LOVE it. They have a free trial and a live help via IRC - mostly 24/7 because there is almost always someone on who is willing to help with questions/problems.

Hotkeynet, AutoHotkey, Octopus, Clickboxer, Clonekeys, Repeater, and prolly a few others I'm missing, can all be used to help multibox in a similar fashin to keyclone.

Look in the wiki ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/index.php/Software') there are plenty to choose from.

If you don't need a gui-based software and simply want to try out one, without paying anything, you might want to have a look at hotkeynet.com ('http://www.hotkeynet.com') (my personal favorite).
Guides for this can be found on the hkn-site or in my signature (see below).
IF you need any help for setting hkn up, simply ask here or at the hkn-forum...

InnerSpace has a 7 day free trial so you can get your feet wet and see how you like it. I was a devout KeyClone user for over a year when I switched to IS and was absolutely floored by how much better the PIP swap performed...
