im ready for all flame/LOLNOOB posts yall have
first of all im using a custom built desktop for my main wow screen and a laptop for my other wow
i have been using voice cmd to control the second account but that is slow and often times doesnt register the right commands
i have been searching for days on how to make synergy actualy clone the mouse and keyboard inputs from one computer to the other like if i move my desktop mouse the laptop mouse will move in sync opposed to moving my mouse to the bottom/left of my desktop screen to enable use of it on my laptop
i just want to know if its possible to make it just mimic my input on both computers (for questing and whatnot)
if it does.. how do i enable that feature? right now all that does is make it act like i have 2 monitors on one pc.. which i can easily do anyways

Did you get plain ol synergy? Then no, it cannot do that. Synergy itself is just a KVM across the network.
Synergy with broadcasting can add a multiplexer, however. ;)

It's the most basic primitive form of keybroadcasting as well. Nothing wrong with that though :)

It's been a while since I've used it, but there should be a section where you can set a "Keyboard broadcast toggle" and "Mouse broadcast toggle". The mouse one is relatively useless if you're not running machines with the same resolutions, but you'll want to set a key for your "keyboard broadcast". Basically, you toggle broadcasting "on" and "off" (off is useful for chatting hehe).
I think I used tilde for mine (~ key), but some other folks use other uncommonly-used buttons like "scroll lock" and "pause break".

Short answer: Synergy only clones intra-computer, not intra-window (to my knowledge). Read on for more detail.
This may be more info than you need, but it should cover every possibility.
I just went through the whole setup process, with the added complexity of a mixed Mac and PC environment.
Keep in mind that a 5-boxes with 5 PCs only needs to multicast between PCs since each machine willl have WoW as the only program needing inputs. A 5-boxer using 1 machine only needs to multicast beetween WoW windows since all instances of WoW are local. I have 3 WoWs running on one machine (the Mac) and 2 runing on another (the PC). From what I understand Key Clone can handle intra-window and intra-computer multicasting, but since I have my lovely Mac, I can't use it. This is why I needed such a complex setup. I am sharing it since other people may come across the same issues. Futhermore, a multi-Mac environment would need the dual software solution I use on the Mac since Key Clone is not an option.
Note: if I made it harder than necessary and someone has software to suggest to make my life easier, I'm all ears!
Here is what I did:
The Mac runs:
1) ClonedKeys (This allows for keypresses on the Mac to be multicast to 3 of my WoW windows)
2) Synergy for Mac with Broadcast (This allows me to share the Mac's Keyboard and mouse with the PC) Note: The default toggle is the tilde (~) to turn key broadcasting to the PC on/off.
The PC runs:
1) Key Clone (This allows for keypresses transmitted from the Mac to the PC to be multicast to the 2 WoW windows)
2) Synergy for PC with Broadcast (This is setup as the client so that keyboard input and mouse movement are received from the Mac)
So when I press a key on the Mac this happens:
a) It goes to the 3 instances of WoW on the Mac (clonedkeys)
b) It goes to the PC (synergy w/broadcast)
c) It goes to the 2 WoW instances on the PC (key clone)
I hope this helps.

custom built desktop for my main wow screen and a laptop for my other wow
I assumed from here that he knew that Synergy only works cross-computer. >.<
Could be wrong, sorry for making that assumption.
