Has anyone else had the issue recently with Macaroon where the buttons and bindings work just fine until you enter combat, and once you do the bar disappears? It just started happening to me recently, and it was working fine before the weekend... Any ideas?

Check in bar edit if you changed anything with the bar settings. I haven't tried it myself but I think it is possible for macaroon to make bars that dissappear upon combat. I think that might be your problem.

I have the active state set to combat... so it shouldnt be turning off on me... I even made a new bar, was using it, than it started doing the same thing.

I'm also having troubles with the reset timer on my castsequences...
for example, I have:
/castsequence reset=20 shockwave, thunder clap, devastate, devastate, devastate, thunder clap, devastate, devastate, devastate, thunder clap.... and so on...
but it doesnt reset back to showckwave once the cooldown is ready. the cooldown is 20 seconds hence the reset=20.
Any ideas there?

the macro timer gets reset every time yeh hit the button.
The way it works if if yeh havent hit that button for 20 seconds it resets.
what might work better is
/castrandom shockwave,thunder clap,devastate,
make sure yeh keep the trailing comma in
I just recently started playing with macaroon
uncheck every yeh checked?
I guess yer trying to set it up so that it changes when yeh have different stances?

Sounds like you have a "combat" state checked.
Check if "combat" is checkboxed ('http://www.wemultibox.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=4&pictureid=130') in bar edit mode ('http://www.wemultibox.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=4&pictureid=132') (right click on the bar in question) ('http://www.wemultibox.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=4&pictureid=130') and...
Check in "bar edit ('http://www.wemultibox.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=4&pictureid=132')" by left-clicking on the bar in question if you can get to an "empty" state/stance with no buttons in it.
Sounds like when you're entering combat, you're entering a combat state so it's "switching stances" for you, but you never set up any buttons for the "combat" state (via "bar edit"->rightclick bar menu->"button count"). Either that or it's some other funky state.

Thanks a bunch, I will have to go in and check things again... I had just disabled macaroon in the meantime

If I could change one thing about macros, it would be how the reset worked on Castsequence. The current implementation is sloppy. Having it tied to the first key press would be so much cleaner.

That's teh standard WoW macro interface, and Macaroon (as it should) does not alter this functionality.
This is why I shy away from /castsequences wherever possible. The reset timer... resets... every time you push the button. The only way to change that would be to get Blizzard to change the way castsequence macros function.

i'm getting a corollary issue with macaroon's handling of castsequences which i believe is an actual macaroon bug.
on my drooz, i have a set of HoT sequence keys that are each aimed at distinct targets. the issue, i believe, is that since the spells sequence and reset conditions are identical, macaroon is using a common reference for what should be distinct macros. in practice, this was resulting in all of these sequences iterating as if they were the same sequence.
for example, on my main i have the following macros on two separate buttons:
/castsequence [target=Balsfjord] reset=10 Rejuvenation,Lifebloom,Lifebloom,Lifebloom
/castsequence [target=Cheddam] reset=10 Rejuvenation,Lifebloom,Lifebloom,Lifebloom
and when i'd trigger either button, it would then iterate BOTH. as a cheap workaround, i've made each of such macros have slightly differing reset times and macaroon then updates them distinctly.
as an aside, my tank buddies are generally blown away that we can run whole dungeons healing with HoTs almost exclusively. with my main in boomkin, i can get 15 HoTs on them at once, 20 when i drop into four cow mode (including regrowths and lifebloom stacks).
