View Full Version : Boxing friendly dailies?

I was never a big fan of daily quests, although the MB-friendly SSO quests were a quick tour, which made it a bit less annoying. Right now I'm just grinding heroics while orbs and purple shards still sell fairly well, but if history is an indicator, this will stop at some point and the gold/hr will favor the dailies by more than a bit.
WotLK seems to have a lot of looong questlines and as we know, most questlines tend to have a bit of collection quests shuffled in. Many questlines unlock phasing areas or daily quests, which means that they to some degree become mandatory. I was thinking of starting a guide to unlock the most MB-friendly dailies and the more mandatory areas (ebon knights etc.). If anyone has already done this or have ideas/hints/info/links - please post them :-)

I agree that the phasing quests are mandatory to take.. I suppose there isn't a list already of all of them out.. That would be nice.
I did a guide for Icecrown, but not a guide leading up to it. http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=152152&highlight=#post152152 ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=152152&highlight=#post152152')

The pvp dailies in Grizzly Hills are fairly easy and MB friendly. I skip the part collection quest "Pieces Parts" in BSLG. For "Shredder Repair" camp your slaves near the turn-in pt or if you have flying have them high above the turn-in npc. Doing so will give credit to all your toons as long as they have the quest. BLC has one quest very easy in and out. VB is also very easy 3-4 quests. If you ignore the "Riding the Red Rocket" quest you can knock out the other three quests in a matter of 10-15 mins tops. For "Smoke 'Em Out" just run around aggroing as many Venture Company stragglers as possible and drop a smoke bomb (you should get credit for 9-10 in each group and cuts down on questing time).
Quote from wowwiki "There are a number of daily quests in the Grizzly Hills that focus on pvp combat and a general conflict between the Alliance and Horde to control Venture Bay ('http://www.wowwiki.com/Venture_Bay'), the Blackriver Logging Camp ('http://www.wowwiki.com/Blackriver_Logging_Camp'), and the Blue Sky Logging Grounds ('http://www.wowwiki.com/Blue_Sky_Logging_Grounds'). Daily quests include tasks to recover parts and assist npcs, as well as killing opposition npcs and players. Players from both factions can speak to NPCs in the Blue Sky Logging Grounds to ride a log downstream to the bay, where additional quests can be found. Venture Bay can be captured by either faction, which spawns defenders and permits access to the island's vendors."

The worst daily unlock and then daily grind in the history of mankind is in Zul'Drak. Don't even consider doing it. In fact, don't even unlock it if you don't like collection quests. I think it starts with "Pa"Troll". You then end up going on a series of arduous collection quests across the entire zone for reduced exp values. Then you can repeat it again.

This is useful information. Thank you for saving me hours :)

I know it's annoying , but (especially the way WOTLK seems to like to lock you out of whole sections of quest hubs without completing other prior stuff) I find that doing the unlock once in the process of leveling isn't such a bad thing.
However as dailies, I agree that the Pa'Troll snuff sucks.. epically
