with your help shaadow priest aalmost there. one more step...

When my SPriest heals i want him to cast the heal then follow with cast of shadowform so he is back to shadow. here is what i have tried but no luck



/cast [target=Sodan] Flash Heal; /cast Shadowform



also tried

/castsequence [target=Sodan] Flash Heal Shadowform



neither worked. is this even possible??

Well, you would need a comma between Flash Heal and Shadowform for syntax


Depending on your addons, you probably want 3 macros. One macro is your dps macro, which should be on your shadow form bar, one macro casts heal, and one macro bound to the same key in your non-shadowform bar that puts you back in to shadow.

Alternatively, you could include it all in one line of your DPS macro if you don't have it on a changing bar:


/castsequence [stance0] !Shadowform; [stance1] Shadow Word: Pain, Devouring Plague, Mind Flay, etc

That would make it so that every time you try to cast an offensive spell, if you aren't in shadowform you will go in to it before casting. If you are in shadowform, it just keeps DPSing.

can you help me with setting a reset for starting the macro over if i forget to hit the button twice? in otherwords, i hit button and heal but do not hit to reset shadow form (maybe i am healing with another macro for different toon). i would like the macro to reset after certain amt of time.

If you don't hit the macro for 3 seconds, it goes back to casting Flash Heal. You can shange the 3 to however many seconds you want it at.
