Shadow Form problem in wotlk with dual box????

sry. i posted this first in community forums by mistake. please remove from there





I have a shadow priest as alt toon with dualbox. he fights with a shaman. If I am out of shadow all the macros work on both. If I am in shadow, however, none of the priest macros work. anyone have any ideas? I am using just basic macros on priest.

macro 1 /cast [target=targetfocus] Vamperic Embrace

macro 2 /cast [target=targetfocus] Vamperic Touch

macro 3 /cast [target=targetfocus] Mind Blast

macaro 4 /cast [target=targetfocus] Mind Flay



I am at a loss as to why it works out of shadow form but not in shadow fom

well i have a dummy macro icon on shaman bar and the priest macro on corresponding bar....wait, i seem to remember something about changing to shadowform changes t he bar used in wotlk?? anyone know if this is true? if it is, the my priest bar would be different bar than shamen. not sure what to do t here

never tried if the first works, but i would doubt it


edit: and to see if the bar changes well.. just .. go in shadowform and look?
depends on what UI u use really. Keybinds _should_ stay the same so just put ur macros there then

Funkstar got it. Focustarget, not targetfocus. Although he could have had a transpositional error making his post.

Priest do have a stance bar change when entering shadowform. So you need to place your macros on the Shadowform bar for them to work. Priest have had bar switching with the default ui for as long as I can remember. But I am getting old. :P

I'm assuming, you spell it Vampiric and not Vamperic in game.. that would be an issue to cause the spell to fail too.
