Account A - 70 Mage
Account B - 64 Warrior

My question is this, for you RAF veterans. How would you recommend I level 3 more characters? I wish to level 2 more DPS and a priest. Im thinking 2 more mages and a Priest actually... but back to the point. Should I boost them with my mage? My prot warrior? Both? I am not against questing them up, but I am not against boosting either. I really have no experience in anything besides single leveling at this time, so any advice will be appreciated. I would like to grant levels of course to either avoid leveling one of the new characters, or if that is not possible, just to have a new level 60, future sub for my team. Please tell me how you would link the accounts to make the most use out of the RAF system.

Thanks

Put your mage as a frost spec with improved blizzard.

Run stockades from 15-23 in 3 pulls.
Run a mix of Armory (2 pulls - first room then everything in halls to boss) and library. (Library sucks cause mobs will reset so will be many pulls). 23-34

At 34 do just Armory and Cath (cath in 3 pulls, downstairs, upstairs, then open the door and hit mograine to pull the rest of the zone). 34 to 40-42.

ZF in 4 pulls. All the way till the first split of left and right, then all the way to just before the hydromancer room, then the event room (event takes too long to do for a grinding exp though). Then run out and reset. Do this till about 52.

For me this becomes a rocky spot...my PVP geared epic mage with 10k life couldn't really keep up for anything in scholo/strat to make it worthwhile the time. I suggest just doing the Ungoro quest followed by the Western plaguelands and that'll put you in BC at 58. You might be able to do scholo on your prot warrior though...remember you can kill yourself in the fire outside and ghost walk inside the door and turn the sconce to open the door.

For group setup, you would have your 70 mage, Linked account 1, and linked account 2.

Im not sure I understand how you are saying to link the accounts. I want to add 3 more accounts, so link the mage with new acct 1, new acct 1 linked to new acct 2, new acct 2 linked to new acct 3? Or all of the new accts linked to the mage account? lol so confusing.

how you want to link your accounts all depends on what account you want to be able to gift level up points to. i sudgest linking the accoutns like this: mage-->new account 1-->new account 2-->new account 3. or you could switch the account with the mage on it for the account with the warrior on it. either way just be sure you linkthe new accounts to eachother. hope this makes sens, RAF can be extremely confusing at times lol.

Don't link your mage to an account if you plan on boosting with your mage. If you want to boost with your mage, I'd go warrior --> acct 1 --> acct2 --> acct 3.

it doesn't matter what account he links them to as long is the new accounts are linked together( acct1-->acct2-->acct3 ). you can't gift level up points past lvl 60 so it wouldn't matter if he linked them to the mage or the warrior. it just depends what account you want to maybe build up another character on, your mage or your warriors account. but as long as you have the new accounts linked logether like i stated above all 3 of those will get tripple xp as long as they are within 4 levels of eachother and until they are level 60. if you havent read the blizzard info on RAF then i highly sudgest you do.

Do I always gain triple experience while I am linked to my recruit?

No, only when you are partied with a character on the linked account and both players are present when slaying the monster or completing the quest. Also, if the two characters are not the same level (4 or more levels difference), no bonus experience is granted to either character.

... So if mage is boosting he should not link the new accounts to this acc otherwise he won´t get the 3x exp.

Boosting with mage: Acc A unlinked - Acc B => new acc1 => new acc2 => new acc3

Boosting with warrior: Acc B unlinked - Acc A => new acc1 => new acc2 => new acc3

(otherwise new acc1 won´t get the triple exp because of the 4 lvls difference to booster)

OK, so link my warrior acount to #1, #1 -> #2, #2 -> #3. Then use the mage to boost, and when its all said and done,all of those accounts can grant levels to the warrior account?

ok now this is where it gets confusing, yes the link between the mage and acc1 will terminate itself because of the 4 level different BUT THE LINK BETWEEN ACC1 AND ACC2 IS STILL VALID. this means that acc1 WILL get the tripple xp. not from being linked with the mage(because it will be more then 4 levels higher then it) but because it is linked to new acc2. understand? if not then i will try and clarify it better but hopfully this will clarify things enough for you.

when granting level up points, new acc3 will be able to grant 1 point per 2 levels you earn untill level 60, or 29 points per level 60 character on that account. new acc2 can grant points to acc1 and acc1 can grant points to the account with the mage/warrior, watever 1 you have linked to the others. but you can not grant points to a character above the level of the character that earned the points, and you can't grant points to characters above level 60. hope this helps if you need me to clarify things more just ask ^_^

Its coming together, thanks for the replies. So each linked account can only pass 29 levels to the one that recruited it, OK. That being said, if I plan to use the mage to boost, I should then start new characters on the new accounts, as well as a new toon on the warrior account since the warrior account is doing the first recruiting. All 4 of those characters will then get 3x xp while being boosted by my mage, but each can only grant 29 levels once they are 60, to the account that recruited them. SO, once they are 60, it would make sense to level 4 more toons the same way, and each will get 3x XP again, to level 31.99, then grant the 29 levels to each account, so in the end I will have not 4 but 8 new level 60's. And this could be repeated until my RAF timer is up. Am I understanding this all correctly? Having 8 naked 60s.... eep, they are going to be raped in outlands!

yes that is exactly right, now if i understand right you are going to have your warriors account linked to acc1 and then acc1 to acc2 and finaly acc2 to acc3, then you will use the mage to instance grind/quest up the 4 new characters on the 4 other accounts. then after that you will do the same but level them up to only level 31 (and 99% of the way to 32) and gift points to make them level 60. great but the only flaw in that is this, acc3 will not be able to reciev any points from any other accounts. when the character on it reaches 60 it can grant 29 points to 1 character (or less points to multiple characters) on acc2, then acc2 can do the same to acc1 and acc1 can do the same to the acc with the warrior on it, bot no account can give points to acc3. so in the end you will have 7 level 60's. not 8. so when you box up the second group to 31.9 only box up characters on the account with the warrior and acc1 and acc2.
