Hi Everyone,

This is Rich from Vetra. Just wanted to let everybody know that we just recently released a bunch of new products with features specifically designed with hardware multiboxing in mind. To help reduce desk space and overall cost, we now have 4 and 8 port KVM switches (SwitchCaster series) with a rich set of multicasting features built in to the switch. We have also added several new multicasters (MegaCast series) to the line up, including models that now multicast both keyboard and mouse, and up to 10 PCs simultaneously. You can find these products on the gamers section of our site at http://www.vetra.com/wow.html. As some of these newer products may supplant or combine functions, we are working on the details of several "upgrade" programs we will offer on some of the products (like upgrading an 8 port KVM switch to a Switchcaster). These will be announced when finalized.

To show our appreciation to those who have bought and used our products, we are having a limited time “Recommend-A-Friend” Promotion. Details on this promotion can be seen at http://www.vetra.com/refer.html

If anybody has any questions, ask away.

-Rich

WoW looking great.

I have 6 computers ... oh well probably have to get the 10 port ones I guess.

Surely a very powerfull product for me to consider during my next upgrade.

Seems like an ideal solution for 5 or 10 boxers though for sure. Goodbye lag with 5 computers.

Very interested in this "upgrade" path you mention. Standing by for details
Should be posting the options sometime right after Thanksgiving. By the way, "Happy Thanksgiving" all.

I have been two boxing on one computer for a while and I was interested in maybe going to a hardware setup since I will be getting a second computer soon. I found these products on the forums and checked out the website. It seems very interesting. I was wondering if you knew if there was going to be a usb version of the 2 port kvm multicaster coming out? I saw you have the 5 and 10 port multicasters and the 2 port kvm but of the ps/2 variety so I wanted to see if a usb version would be coming out at some point? Or if I wanted to get the current 2 port version would I just need to get ps/2 to usb connectors?

Thanks in advance for any info

USB-845-KM-BC "MegaCast"™ 5 Port USB Keyboard & Mouse Multicaster looks like a sweet product and i would be tempted to get one for when i finally hit the full hardware route.

the one addition i would like to see would be some kind of mute feature (like in Keyclone). say you had 5 buttons on the device and you could select which outputs would recieve the keystrokes by enabling the buttons.
