I've been looking at synergy threads for days and can't find answer to my problem. I downloaded synergywbroad, and i set up hot keys for broadcasting, i tried keys like ~ and \ to toggle it on, but nothing works. I can move mouse to other screen and type, but really need to get the broadcasting going for my playstyle. Other than setting up hot keys, is there anything that new comers over look for broadcasting keystrokes? On my 2nd machine I run vista in admin mode but my wow and synergy are in public folders and i have had no problems with anything else, I just cant broadcast.

Also, clicking the relative mouse move box does not fix spinning issue on my 2nd machine.

(i'm running desktop [#1] with xp and laptop [#2] with vista and my network is set up with a wired ethernet connection to a router, 2 account dual box) doubt that matters, but just incase any other new people were interested.

I appologize in advance if this has been answered, but I havent found it. There are so many threads and guides to look through and nothing i've seen has helped so far. If someone could provide a specific answer to these two problems, that would be just awsome.

Things I would check: Set an arbitrary key like control or 1 or G to be your broadcast key. Make sure you're saving your settings and reloading the configuration or restarting the synergy server to apply your configuration changes. Make sure both WoW Windows have focus. See if there is any errors being logged that may give you a clue. I was never able to fix my spinning mouse and this is what eventually pushed me to Keyclone. You have to purchase a license for each machine and you won't be able to share a mouse, but it definitely made my life easier and much more stable.

HotKeyNet and Interbox. Both are free and between the two you have everything you need for boxing between systems.
