So I have this idea for a great game. It's about a multi boxer with 5 accounts, all with chars over lvl 55. What if the multiboxer was to buy 5 more accounts(WoW, TBC, WOTLK) and then create 5 Dk's on the first accounts...Could he transfer to the new accounts them and thus get a group op 5 fresh lvl 55 DK's and his old crew, to make 10 in totall ?

I just tried this with a test char, didn't give me an error saying something like "DK's cannot be transfered"...

But besides it being possible or not, would it add anything ? I have not even played a DK yet because I'm leveling my group, but 10 boxing always seemed interesting for to and I don't feel like leveling 5 chars from scratch, even with RAF it wake too much time..

I did a search but didn't really find anything helpfull yet, but please excuse me if I overlooked a thread.

I saw in the official FAQ (can't be arsed to dig out link) states that once created a DK has normal character transfer rules, which means that it can be transferred to a realm where no 55+ character exists on that account.

Edit: imo 10 boxing only adds value for pvp or 10 man raids, will not help at all with leveling etc - And adding 5 melee characters won't make life easy on you.

Thnx for your reply, I so far found the same while searching with google. The goal would be 10 mans indeed, but before I go and get all exited I should just start a DK ;) I was under the impression they do have some spells ? The grabbing thing also might come in very handy, and add the tanking abilities of each spec and it sounds pretty amazing to me 8) Hnece the reason why I'd add 5 of them.

Also using DK's because I'm lazy and like I said, leveling a new group won't do for me.

There's no way you're going to have a good time 10 boxing all melee and doing raiding this way.

This is of course assuming that they aren't blood and already have it but from what i've seen imo with blood I have not been impressed.

Only tarun DK's have any possibility for multiboxes cause of the increased mellee range.

Like was suggested its possible to do a mellee group by haveing a tiny leader and moving to the right or left of the mob and that will bring the tarun dk followers in range.

I havn't tried it but it seems possible.

If you think you can control 5-10 mellee seperatly, well forget it. I suggest no more then one mellee under normal circumstances.

Melee boxing kills things ridiculously fast because the lack of mana. Its CRAZY difficult to do all warriors because of rage difficuluties but since death knights use runic power it possibly and quite fun, (ive tried 3 deathknights and it makes me luagh so hard when i spread em out and 3x death grip the mob everywhere!)

All you have to do when you pull a mob is death grip it with leader and spin around so its like this X 0 Y(2,3,4,5)
where X is your leader, 0 is the mob, and Y(2,3,4,5) is your other members of your team.

Wow, would 5 blood deathknights kill stuff so fast, +10% dmg, really?

Yes, you can. RAF link to my main account had run out, so I made 2 DKs on my clone accounts that still had RAF. Some things I learned, one ... DKs can't grant points to eachother while still doing the newbie quests. You apparently have to be done and in the "real" world for left gifting to work. Two, you can not leave the newbie instance until you finish the last quest at Light's Hope Chapel, IE, you can't get summoned out by one of your other toons and granted a level (you know so you'll finish the place at 61+). Anyhow, after I was done I xfered my DK to my main account with no problems.

After transferring the DK to another account, were you able to create a new DK on the original account that still has a level 55+ character on it?

I made 5 DK's, tauren female(don't see many of those hehe)

I'm in the starting area at lvl 57, nearing 58 very soon(altough it's now work time) and the DK's are all that I expected.... It's insane! Due to my builds I can death grip every 5 seconds, and when using this every DK starts hitting the mob as soon as it gets near 8)

Raiding with these guys, PVE, with my other normal group, might turn out to be very good, as the DK's are easely 'remotely' controlled.

I'll update here when I'm a bit higher level, but so far this is not what I expected from a melee 5 box... This is very playable!

Tauren hitbox was nerfed, at least according to all pvp reports?

If so, it's still good enough to be usable ;) (mobs last about 0.5* second before they die, wich is 1 auto attack followed by an instant attack/spell)

* Disclaimer: 0.5 might be wrong as most mobst die when I target them

From fear? Or are you wearing really garish outfits?

@SamDeathWalker - I regularly 5 box melee characters and I would say that melee is just a matter of practice as I find casters to be more difficult.

yes you can, I moved my DK from Aggramar to Chamber of Aspects on a free transfer and recreated another DK in the free slot

think it's the smell the cows produce
love them though  deathknight powerrr

It's so tempting to get started ... Holding myself back from buying 5 wow sets atm... Just need some more leveling done on de DK's

And using melee is easy after a few kills.... Was a little scarry at the start but once I had some mobs down, and did a few mobs at once I knew it was doable 8)
