Hello all,

It seems that there are quite a few multiboxers here in Southern California. Would any of you guys be interested in a monthly get together?

I'm thinking about forming a Meetup.com group, but I want to see how much interest there is before I plunk down the $70 for the group sign up.

Any suggestions for meeting places? I've got Fios and plenty of space at the house, but I really don't want you guys peeking into my Japanese "action" movies.

This idea came about after talking to a few Northrup Grumman guys who play Wow. If you didn't know, Redondo Beach is the headquarters of the company's space division.

Hell I might show up just to peek at your "Action" movies. I like "action"

Sweet I wish I still worked in that area. It is ironic I consulted for Verizon FIOS in fact I did a bunch of the training for the folks in Huntington Beach when it first kicked off and I consulted at Northrup in El Segundo I think it was?

Either way it would be interesting to see a bunch of Types A's in a small room ;)

The company I used to work for did the cabling at the El Segundo plant (well one of them)... was pretty awesome being up on the catwalk above fighter jets being built (though not awesome pulling data cable for a living lol).

Small world.

Would it be better to have meetings in Orange County or South Bay Los Angeles County?

Or would it work to rotate meeting places?

We could meet up across the street from Blizz and stare them down once a month. (With 5 pairs of eyes each of course) ;)

(not that i know what's across from them, could be a freeway or an abandoned lot for all i know)

Unless they have moved since I last live in California they are at 101 Theory at UC Irvine.

As crazy as this sounds, this may not be a bad idea. Irvine Spectrum is the closest place with restaurants and seating. I wonder if the mall has mall-wide wifi.
