So, my question is. Have no one found a good place to AOE grind as 5 shammies? I mean somewhere in this digital world, there should be a place with allot of mobs! and fast respawn. Please post if you know any place like this, ive been looking but havent found paradise yet.

Depends on your level.

The point on the map here http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=26704 has some huge packs of melee mobs that respawn very fast, your talking like 15 at once. You can just run in circles aoeing each pack.

I had to grind these guys for 25 desperate mojo as part of a quest chain leading to a dungeon quest and I wouldn't exactly call this an ideal place to AoE grind. Guess the situation could vary depending on how many other people are doing the quest but in my case there was quite a few.

If you can get online when its not busy, they are definately worth checking out.

You mean its not faster to just go into any instance and kill everything? hard to go wrong with 1500-2000 a mob non-rested...

I just hit Northrend so I am looking for a similar place. Once my gear is a little better I will hit an instance. As it is I entered the North at level 68 so the gear is lacking for sure.

One thing I did find accidentally was a pack of those Shovelhead boars that had a fairly short respawn time. A group of 5-6 would spawn I would consecrate AOE them down for about 550xp each and as soon as I killed the first pack the second would insta' spawn. After that a minute or two later it would start over. I might go back to that location or one like it to level my skinning.

Just throwing this out there, but I am halfway through revered with Valiance Keep rep (the first main alliance rep, not sure what horde have), JUST from doing the quests in the first two zones. So if you want some easy rewards as soon as you hit 67+ from the quartermaster, consider doing as many quests as possible. It's not like it's slower to quest if you're just grinding anyway.

I actually saw a few places specifically for grinding, first of which is where nymh the first to level 80 behind athene.

Second is the spot in dragonblight, i saw a video for 10,000 exp a minute, the mobs in dragonblight spawn every 90 seconds and they are only melee so you don't have to be worried if you mass farm them like a frost mage.

generally what i do on my 5x boomkin is every 3 minutes (cd on starfall) i start looking for a large group of mobs to run straight into-- i can generally kill 10 mobs in about 10 seconds with starfall, typhoon, and moonfire spam. if they're ~500xp per kill that means 5k xp in 10 seconds every 3 minutes. not too shabby 8) just look out for elites if you run into a group of mobs like this, i've been surprised a couple of times lol :P also I generally get less than 5k xp for doing this because it's not always easy to find a group of 10 all standing within range of starfall, plus 500 xp/kill is pretty generous for regular mobs unless you're rested.

So with 25 shaman with ThunderStorm I should be able to kill a ton of mobs at the same time I would assume. Humm unless the first knocks them back out of range of the rest ... hummm. Oh ya I can just run them into a corner then like I did in EQ.

Ya 61 isnt it for 51 points? If I go all elemental bleh still tore between getting 11 in Enhancment for the 45 percent mana reduction on shock spells ... bleh, bleh.

Im going to try some fire nova totems in the next few days and see what happens, 25 should kill tons of mobs I would think.

Also a blue post said that elemental shaman will be getting some kind of aoe damage increase of some kind, alhtough nothings happened since that announcement. I might be smart just to wait for that and hope it starts at lower levels then 61.

The Worg cave near Camp Onequah (spelling) in Grizzly Hills WAS a 5 spawn of 73's that always had 2 up... I farmed this for 4 hours and was NEVER resting... I could barely keep up with loot... had skinners coming by trying to keep up with killing some on their own and eventually they all gave up and just skinned my corpses. I provided a guildmate with enough leather to cap leatherworking.

Saddly, this is now a 5 spawn that doesn't always have some up... Blizz fixed the gravy train. Oh well, I got about 50% of 74 there in those 4 hours, all the leather my guildmate needed, and 5 blue drops that got me a pretty penny not to mention countless greens/grays/etc.
