After quite a long break from WOW I am playing again here and there thanks to this site, kind of got me excited again to play, multibox style. After 2 boxing a bit I have decided to head toward 5 boxing so I can do my own instances and try out some PVP etc. Ive been 2 boxing with my 2 accounts, but since planning to 5 box, I decided to hit up 3 friends who I started the game with, but no longer play, to see if they would mind selling me their accounts or just let me use them since they are dormant. All 3 agreed, and I thought I was good to go. After reading Suvegas brain dump I noticed he specifically said not to multibox with accounts that are not under your name..... this ruins my master plan... I realize using these accounts would be against the rules, I guess I was hoping it wouldnt be a big deal. So my question is this, is there a hope in hell I can make this work? Or do I really need to level 3 more of my own characters? Please say it aint so....

No chance. You cant transfer the characters without your account having the same name, and you will eventually be caught if you try to play with your friends accounts.

We attract a lot of attention.

Best to raf some new characters up sadly.

If you read the TOS for Wow, it specifically says you cannot share your account with others. So you will be breaking the TOS if you use your friends accounts and will get all the accounts banned should you be investigated (multiboxing is reasonably high profile). I'm not sure if your friends would appreciate that.

RAF it is.... ackk more leveling =(....Leveling with RAF is like breathing. It's something you've done before, and it's really easy.

Boosting with a good 70 to get to 60 is really quick. My friend just clocked in his first 2 RAF accounts at 23 hours and that was without 100% dedicated time to leveling. I'd love to see the times a dedicated person could do.

I do have a 70 mage, my main character, which I could boost with. 28 hours to 60 sounds good, but I wonder if he stopped to loot anything, or just cruised through for max time efficiency? Id rather not start instancing them through outlands to 70 in level 10 gear, and broke!

enjoy the leveling!!

yea sharing accounts (or taking a friend's used one) is against the rules and should not be done. its best to start over anyway and learn to play your new team from the start. =]
