Hi there, Im new to Multiboxing, and after 2 boxing with keyclone I want to move to 5 boxing, but I need to upgrade my computer. Would you please look at this link and tell me if this computer will do the trick? Thanks in advance.

The price seems cheap, but I am open to suggestions as well.

That seems like an awesome deal.
That pc doesn't come with an operating system, so you'll have to load it yourself. Other than that, pretty good.

Just in case, go for 64bit xp/vista, as 32bit is limited to 3 gb of memory

Out of curiousity I looked at the components at newegg.com. It was cheaper at NewEgg or similar (I didnt include keyboard, speakers and mouse) ($731 list price). Of course, you would have to build it yourself and it would only come with manufacturer warranties.
Also, I don't really like the idea of having a high end CPU/MoBo with a lower end video card (and other components). Doesn't make sense to me. I am also unfamiliar with that brand of PS, but I have a feeling it's also where they tried to save money.
I suggest shopping around. However, I personally don't like to buy things like electronics from eBAY. They claim a three year warranty, but will they be around for three years????
If you already ordered it, it isn't that bad of a deal really. But I would probably end up upgrading the video card. Make sure you send in your manufacturers warranties too.

i'm wondering if 1gb of memory on that 8500 is necessary hah, my 'old' 8800gtx has 768 :P
but yeh it's a pretty good deal on a good computer, should serve all your multiboxing needs quite nicely! :]

I ended up ordering this exact setup, but with a 9500 video card instead of the 8500. It was the same price so i figured why not? Is this much of an upgrade? Im very clueless when it comes to this kind of stuff to be honest. However, I can build a house with my hands from the foundation up!! Anyway, will that 9500 need to be upgraded? If so, to what? Im not affraid to toss some cash at this project, and I hate any laggy crap.
