Here is my link to my armory
Ëarth ('http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Draka&n=%C3%8Barth')
All of my characters are geared the exact same.
My question is can I start to run 5 shamen boxxed instances now? If so is this going to be the best avenue for me to venture down or are quests still going to be my best form of XP?
Im some what worried about A) not not having a tank. and B) haveing nothing but quest gear. So based on those two thoughts what do you feel is the best for me to do? Also where (if you say go instance)

Ok here is my thought about the QQing about not having gear and not doing that successfull in instances. The people that have gear have been playing their team longer. They have more experience with the team and have learned how to do things better/faster. So I don't think you can say well team A has better gear so that is why they are succeeding and I am not. You have to think about all the time that team A put in playing there team.
I noticed when I was running kara with another new 5 boxer I was switching targets almost a second faster than he was. This is just something that comes with practice. No matter if you have a tank or don't have a tank everything takes practice. Having 5 shaman and trying to do an instance you are more prone to wiping after 1 mistake. Agro something too soon with out having your totem farm down things could go very bad very quickly.
Going into a new instance you are going to have to do some experimenting to figure things out. If you come across a mob that fears and don't have tremors down that could be a wipe. Now the next time you come to this pull you won't have to worry about being feared. It all comes down to practice practice practice.
Some times on trash pulls or boss fights it comes down to dumb luck. One time fighting a boss you might bounce around agro so the boss is only hitting your guys two times in a row. Then the next time you might fight the exact same boss and he stays on your main for like 20 seconds and eventually kills him.
Best of luck to you with your instance runs just don't get discouraged too quickly. Hard instances become easy once you run them a bunch of times.

I really would state my post as a QQing about not having gear ect.. I started my team a month before Wotlk in which time I also had to level my pally from 60-70 that being said I didnt have the time to go and farm out gear and get what I needed. I'm certainly not crying that I dont have gear the question was more towards now that Im @ this stage with my current gear that I have am I going to be able to progress fairly easy, or is it going to be a aweful grind and im just better off questing.
I do understand where you are coming from. People like Phean and his team are going to do much better because hes been doing it longer. That is obvious it just comes with the experience; However, right now my main goal is to just hit 80 then start to learn instances. Im just wondering if now would be the opertune time to start instance grinding?

My 5 shaman group is currently 74....UK was some insane exp once it was mastered after several runs through and alot of wipes (was doing ~2 clears per hour minus last boss). That was at 70-72 though, dunno if its worth going to at 75. Same deal with Nexus (though UK felt like it gives more exp per hour...never really compared). I did mostly instancing to 72 and got kinda burned out of them and have been just questing 72-74 to keep things interesting (quests have been very fun so far). Probably going to do both Azjol-Nerub instances next myself to change things up again soon, sense your 75 thats where id head to personally

It was between those two and Drak for my instance choices. Leaning toward Drak so that I could hopefully get that tight shield.

Yea sorry blbjtb you aren't complaining at all. I saw this and decided to vent a little. There is no magical item that says you can now do instance XXXX. (well ok there were heroic keys but you know what I mean)

A few things here that could help, especially with instances. put two points in guardian totems. the 2 second cooldown off of grounding totem is amazing with 5 shammys. I've found through experience that most of my dungeon wipes were due to not keeping grounding totems up and then being forced to try and heal through the damage. I also noticed that all your shammys are spec'd identical. You only need totem of wrath on one of them, maybe two if you're worried about someone targeting it down quickly, but since they don't stack, there is really no reason to spec them all for it.
I would also suggest taking some time and farming totem of void ( http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28248 ) for all of your shammys. Especially now that you are 75, you would be able to fly through it. @ L70, it took me about three and half hours to get all 5 of them the void. Then on top of that, you'll likely be revered with Sha'tar and be able to buy the head enchant +22 SP, +14 SH ( http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29191 )
After you reach 80, you might consider getting enchanting on one of them as if you plan on doing solo instances, it makes it very easy to farm mats to enchant your team.

Holy cow 3 1/2 hours for 5 totems of the void. I know it took me a solid weekend of playing to get all my five. I spent ~16 to 17 hours doing runs just up to the cache.
Here is a good video kicksome put together. At level 75 this should be alot easier than what it was. If/when you do this make sure you aren't doing runs faster than 12 minutes other wise you will hit the "entered too many instances recently" wall

^^ this, once you hit 75 just go to grizzly hills south west area to the venture camp, you can do all the dailies and get 34 coins and buy the totem first day from the vendor. It adds damage to lava burst, which you get at 75. My shamans are 74 and I got the totems yesterday.

With lava burst on an 8 second CD, you'll be casting 3-4 lightning spells per lava burst. I guess if you don't have the totem of void, it's a nice alternative.
Don't forget the head enchant as well, since the two alternatives either require 40 wintergrasp marks ( http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44075 ) or Kirin Tor - Revered ( http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44159 )
