I finally got around to frapsing it. Azjol-Nerub is a little special, since it consists of 2 gauntlet-type events and the final encounter, meaning that almost all trash is actually part of the boss-encounter. So I edited out the first parts of the gauntlet-events since those are trivial.
The bosses are fairly straight forward. The first boss is mostly tank/spank, the second boss requires some movement when he clouds and poison cleanse totems are nice for this fight also. The last boss is a semi-long fight with submerge and waves of mobs - the last wave is pretty long, but nothing out of the ordinary. Also, the spike + throw damage is trivial, so dont bother moving, just heal it off, but don't keep the slaves too close together since the spikes are ae-based.
Oh, and someone complained that my videos didn't have music, so this one does. Enjoy Chopin's nocturnes ;-)

Can't seem to find your toons' names so I can look them up, but do you have a speced healer? Obviously the druid is not which leaves your shaman and I notice they are all casting lightning bolts but I do the same with my dedicated healer sometimes.
Thanks.

Thanks.Yeah, one shaman is resto-specced - I use her to chuck lightning bolts between heals which works real well for an added 5-600 dps :-)

Thanks for the reply. I do the same if I think I need the additional dps otherwise I don't bother. But I always do it outside of instances. Guess in instances I like making sure my healer is always ready with full access to his mana. I know its kind of dumb but oh well. :P

With mp5 gear, blessing of wisdom, water shield and improved mana totem, you are simply not going to run out of mana if you just cast lightning bolt - well at least not for 10 mins or so :P

My one druid speced a hybrid balance/resto build always ends up with quite a lot of mana after every fight.

Well I think I tracked down your healer (Cottuy?) and with my guy (Ereder) having slightly better spell damage and close to 2% more crit, I'm getting dps closer to the mid 300's. I was only casting lightning bolt as the last thing I want is my healer pulling aggro from chain lightning on a new add (common in these new instances) but that shouldn't make up for 2-300 dps. Any suggestions?
On a side note, have fun in the next instance level wise, I did it last night at 72 since I already have all the gear I want from Azjol-Nerub and am slightly sick of it. The last boss is interesting...

As for your healer, is a spelldmg debuff applied to the target you lightning bolt? Crit debuff? Do you have a moonkin (crit aura)?

Well, number one, I'm using Earthliving Weapon, I'm guessing you are using Flametongue. Second, I don't have a druid for the spell damage debuff. As for the crit portion, I have Elemental Oath on two of my guys which is enough to keep it up non stop. With a differant rotation and these two changes I guess that could make up the differance.
And yes, I have the ToW crit debuff.

Been meaning to ask why do you have all your shamans on seperate casts and rotating through with chain lightnings?

Been meaning to ask why do you have all your shamans on seperate casts and rotating through with chain lightnings? My elemental shaman are using the same castsequences (LB, CL, LB) on trash and bosses (FS, LvB, CL, LB, LB LB, LvB etc.). Sometimes they go out of sync, probably because I used to have a /castrandom macro (I don't since I hit 75 and got my actionbars setup for boss/trash modes).
My resto shaman only casts LB and heals.
I use chain lightning because it's more DPS - especially on trash (multimob pulls) and I have absolutely no mana issues (the only one running out of mana is my tank) with water shield, gbow, mana spring, mana tide etc. Basically you want CL to go off as often as possible if mana isn't an issue since it's higher DPS even on single targets.

On your pally what castseqencing are you using if any?
I know your healer is just casting LBs and if I read correctly you are doing LB, CL, LB for trash. Is this just repeated LB, CL, LB, LB, CL, LB, etc.? As for bosses you are going FS, LaBu, CL, LB, LB, LB, LaBu, CL, LB, LB, LB then repeat?
Thanks.

Thanks. Yes, the shaman sequences are exactly like that, except I don't recall if it's three or four LB's I have (I'm at work atm).
My paladin has two sequences - one for holy shield and judgement (/castsequence holy shield, judgement of wisdom etc.) and one for other spells (/castrandom hammer of wrath, shield of righteousness, hammer of the righteous). I precast the seals before combat (usually seal of wisdom) and reapply if necessary.
I'm working on a macro to prioritize hammer of the righteous ie.
/cast hammer of wrath
/castsequence hammer of the righteous, shield of righteousness
but i haven't got it working yet. Since I use chain lightning an lot on trash mobs I need to apply hammer as soon as possible so the CL won't grab aggro, since I only use consecrate for 4+ mob pulls.

I'm at work myself. :P I'm guessing you have at least 3 plus the CL, otherwise I think you run in to the LaBu CD. I believe I have the same but my CL comes after the LBs to reduce threat issues. As for trash, I need to work on a separate action bar as the LaBu rotation isn't near as effective with multiple targets.

Nice, didn't think of that though I use it for other things and I seal separate as well.

Have you thought about using Seal of Vengeance? The dot is applied to all mobs hit by Hammer of the Righteous. It's basically the only seal I use but at the same time I can understand why you go with Wisdom. I drop 3 Mana Spring Totems and have Divine Plea worked in to a /castrandom so that I'm constantly using it but still sometimes have mana issues. However, not enough to drop the extra threat of a damage seal, especially when it works with Hammer of the Righteous.

My paladin is always WAY ahead of my casters aggrowise, so the only problem I have is if CL hits before HotR. While SoV is a bit extra dps, I dont really need the extra damage/aggro of SoV, but I do need the extra mana of SoW - since I started using SoW instead of SoV, I'm pretty much only drinking when I've wiped. I'm planning to use SoV for raids though, but for instances I like SoW better so far. Also, it enables me to use 2 healing streams and 1 mana spring instead of 3 mana spring (for some reason my casters never ever run out of mana - must be mana totem + water shield + BoW) - I'm always full mana before the next pull.
I guess both solutions work but each have their quirks. I'm a bit curious as to how much extra dps SoV is - I might hit the targetting dummies to test :)

I don't exactly have aggro/damage issues with my tank either, nor do I have mana issues with my shaman, so I may give Seal of Wisdom a try myself.
I currently only use one Healing Stream Totem becuase its more to fill my shaman back up after some damage so I don't have to stop DPS but going 2 and 2 with Mana Spring or even 3 and 1 may not be a bad idea to fill that role more if the mana still is not an issue. And since my level 76 water shield is 100 mp5 as compared to the previous 50, I don't think that should be a problem. (By the way, I'm guessing a typo here but I just got it last night and haven't looked at the character tab to see the real differance.)
Again, thanks for the info.
