View Full Version : Triple Boxing Mages on PVP server...what spec?

As the title says... I'm trying to triple box mages on a PVP server. Wanting to Know if anyone has experience with what spec would worK best with the limitations on movement that dual boxing imposes.

I was thinKing frost... but the whole frost nova...run/blinK forward... turn around... and ice lance seems it would be really hard with characters on autofollow.

Fire would be nice to just blast a ton of AOE's when a melee gets on you...but it would seem hard to land a conal attac liKe dragon's breath with an alt.

Arcane seems really win when I get higher...but the whole thing really realies on mobility...with turning around and hitting an AB while running away from a slowed person. Don't Know if its feasible on an autofollow team.


Any suggestions?

I have 3 mages and I spec them all full arcane with imp fireblast at lvl 70. You can run and gun with a cast macro to spam instant cast spells. You can try ice but I like instant nukes and 2min pom fireballs with instant invis..

Ya I also vote arcane mage. My PvP team is Priest, Druid, 3xMage and I spec all mine full arcane/fireblast and my favorite thing about this build is my opener: Arcane power, Arcane blast, PoM Arcane Blast x3 mages. This is a very good chunk of frontloaded damage but the best part is theres no travel time and theres no missle tracer for anyone you left alive to use to find you. Anything else that gets in my way eats arcane missles x 3 just long enough for anyone that proc'd missle barage to get the full cast off then fireblast. With Amissles auto facing you and doing missle barrage speed damage i have enjoyed this group. granted I have a priest and druid for healing the squishies through the occasional rogue that knows how to wipe my whole team.
