4 Warlocks + SP or 5 Warlocks ??

Hi,

today i wanted to start a new team to level, but i am sitting here now over an hour and don´t know which way to go :(

I never played a warlock or a shadow priest. With 5 Warlocks ive enough dots to kill everyone, but with 4 locks and a SP ive nearly the same damge and a little bit healing...

What i know from BC times that warlocks were harder to kill as shadow priests. Hm, i want to play Arena and battlegrounds with this team. What u think ??

A Holy Priest (I know, not what you were asking for) would give you Circle of Healing.

Instant Cast AoE healing you could use while running... ;)

Yeah holy priest is really nice to have. I ran mine as holy with my 4x shaman and it kept them alive so much longer than trying to chain heal through everything.

The shadow priest debuffs no longer affect other party members, so youd on't get that synergy of misery+shadow weaving anymore. So taht 5th as a shadow preist would essentially be just a retarded warlock with no pet.

But that retarded warlock without a pet can rez all of the non retarded ones... and if you keep the SS up you would hardly ever have to do corpse runs. And wouldn't you get the replenishment buff? Or is that only deep shadow? Also keep in mind, holy nova is a baseline skill now, which is instant cast, zero threat, aoe heal, so its still useful for DoT and running.

You could always spec it Holy instead and learn Lolwell.

thanks for your opimions...i ll go with a priest ( female dwarf ) + 4 WL ( female gnomes ). If ill go for a pure damgeteam, the shadow would do good damage too, has an instant fear, good buffs and a good survivability with new 51s in shadowtree.
The leveling is just much smoother with a priest so´i ll go that way.
