How is your instance progression coming? how are you leveling and also what level are you?
I was seriously wondering how in the world he was able to do this so easy then i looked @ his gear and that spoke volumes soo that being said how are yall fairing?
As for me I went into UK and killed 3 mobs and walked out (my gear just really seemed subpar)
That being said I have been doing all quests to level (Yes even the dreaded collection quests) Ill be honest the collection quests thus far are not that bad. The basic pattern seems to be
(collection quest)
(kill)
(kill/Collection)
(kill)
So aside from the first collection quest its all down hill AND I want to add this analogy. Multibox leveling is alot like a rollercoaster ride
The collection quest part is the the coaster climbing that huge hill. once that is down however the rest is VERY VERY easy. rise and repeat
For non boxers the climb is a lot shorter and thus the speed on the way down is longer. However it has been my observation that the destination time is roughly the same. This is just my 2 cents.

Well my friends are level 75 and im level 72 and half so i guess im halfway to them but did not do the collection quests but might have to go back to them :( Other then that its about 7-12 hours a level for me :( but i as i said we are level 5 guys at once not just 1 so im ok with my progression. Aswell my gear sucks to the crapper im stuck atm on what to do next.

have shamans who have tbc bellow average gear, now most of them 500-600 sp, tbh there isnt much of upgrades i found in wotlk quests, i tried UK with my half decent geared paladin, was able to reach 2nd boss, wiped around 15 times at first boss, working out my strat, managing heals/killing tomb and so on so far seems for me instances are so much not boxing friendly, ppl who been clearing those instances while boxing i belive they have better strats and better gear, am astill struggling and lacking motivation to progress at this time with all ganking while questing, its a nightmatre doing it while getting ganked for 5 shamans ;(

Well meat I gotta say im not one to tell someone how to play the game as I know I really dont like it but Im at about 7-8 hrs a level for my 5 guys and I have been doing the collection quests. Honestly Once you start to get used to them they arnt that bad. Few tips I picked up
1. I have my main pick up Maxnumber -1 so that my main comp will always beable to see the sparkles.
2. if two things are close together split up the team have member 2 and 3 go get them @ the same time rather then having 2 get both. only saves like a couple seconds but its a nice bonus to have guy 2 done and guy 3 only needs like 3 more items or so.
3. SPACE OUT listen to music and just relax its not a race. (I have to keep telling myself this)
One thing im really looking forward to is doing this again with my lvl 70 pally but only having to do all this crap once! I am seriously happy about that!
I'm fairly happy with progression. I changed up my team at the very end of TBC, actually my mage and boomkin were still 69 on the 13th and mage still had on that gold tunic that EVERY caster gets at level 60. After a day of questing they had hit 70 and my other 3 (Tankadin, Resto shammy, Elemental shammy) were still mid 70 with no upgrades.
UK - FIrst boss on the 3rd try (add /target Frost Tomb to cast big-bang macro, face dps slightly towards each other, drop fire elemental totems and rock out)
UK - Second boss on the 3rd try (forget what's said on WoWWiki, nuke the caster guy first, the melee will be almost dead by the time you wear through the caster with his 50% spell dmg misrate)
UK - Third boss, 7 tries still alive (though I just learned from reading around that he only silences the casters for 6 sec if they're actively casting when he roars, with that knowledge he should die next time)
TN - Tree boss on the 3rd try (I grouped up dps on tank, just behind him, doesn't seem to produce shards there and if they do you can see it and move then easily)
TN - Telestra, 8 tries still alive (no idea here, I think I'm suffering from AOE dmg post-whip because when I box she slaughters everyone FAST and when I've solo healed or tanked no one else seems to get hurt very bad)
TN - Electrical shade guy, 1 attempt and I let the rifts stay open too long and got overwhelmed at 30%. Very doable though, nothing special here.
TN - Last guy, haven't boxed him yet. Some say he's impossible, others say he's very doable.
So, given my crazy crappy gear on 2 toons, and only half crappy gear on the other 3 I'm pretty happy with how things are going. I solo-boxed the next 2 instances, Anjol-whatever, and from what I remember they seemed pretty boxable though I'll need to be at least 73 and get SOME gear to help out. My main issue for most fights is fighting stamina. Particularly my boomkin goes OOM to fast, need to get some gear and work on a more efficient cast rotation or something. I'm also having mana probs with my resto Shammy but I need to go back and take her off her PvP spec.

Four of my team (pally tank, 2 x sham, mage) dinged 70 2 days before wotlk and had lvl ~65 instance blues. My last dps is my boomkin which is badge geared. Their current stats (with 3-4 quest upgrades) are: pally 12khp/13karmor/470 def, new dps: 500sp,15% crit, 0 hit, boomkin: 900 sp (new badge gear, no enchants or gems, and I forget what hit/crit he has).
UK - after 2 nights learning I can clear it in 45 mins. Had to spec 1 shaman resto to clear the 2d and 3rd bosses.
Nexus - starting tonight, but I've run with my pally in regular groups and I'm only worried about the mage boss (and you can't activate last boss until she's dead). That's OK though - the loot table sucks, the BEST part about nexus is the quest rewards, and you only need to kill the void boss to complete all of them.
I also ran the first spider instance (anzol something?) with a normal group, and I think I can do that at 73 np, quick and easy zone.

1 prot pally (nice tanking blues, blue gems, some crafted epics, blue gems) 3 ele shaman 1 resto shaman (all tbc blues, 1 green, around 570-600 sp 15% crit). My hp on my shaman is pretty low, around 6k.
UK 1st boss 3rd try.
UK 2nd boss still alive.
I've done a ton of quests in Howling Fjord and about half of the level 70 ones in Borean. I am a bit frustrated too. I'm railing as hard as I can go and sometimes it's barely enough (in UK that is). I am seriously considering switching from a focus system to a FTL system. I have been pleased with what I have got but I am not sure how to add my priest or mage in for CC with my current system. I'm trying to figure out how FTL will work in 10 man raids :/

*From other post - copy*
Protec Paladin + 3 Elemental Shamn + Resto Shaman
Lvl 70 - Utgarde Keep
Lvl 70 - Nexus
Lvl 71 - Azjol Nerub
Lvl 72 - Ahn'kahet (This was by far the best multiboxing challenge EVER! Thanks again to this community, it was a great gaming moment)
Hardly healing through trash. Going smoothly.
Lvl 73 - Drak'Tharon - Last boss the fight is awesome :) Nice shaman shield!
Lvl 74 - Gun'Drak - Mostly tank and spank bosses mainly those with higher hp, fun instance, got an awesome ring... Lvl 76 oh well...
These two last instances are awesome for huge xp and bosses quite linear imo.

I'm doing all quests as well. Bitching the whole time on collection quests lol. I'm 73, nearing 74. I've finished all quests in howling fjord and I'm about 75% through Dragonblight.
I run the dungeons when I feel my level is decent.
So far I've done a few dungeons.
Nexus. Done at 70
Ormorok . Tank and Spank
Telestra. Tank and Spank until you start flying around the screen. Put some flame shocks on her and thunderstorm when you get pullec close to her
Anomalus. Tank and Spank until he's immune, kill the add, rinse repeat until he dead.
Keristrasza. Set everyone up in a circle to release him. Blew all cooldowns, 5 fire elementals, trinkets, heroism, best dps (lower survivability) gear on and blew him down. The dot killed us all but he died too.
Utgarde Keep. Done at 70
Prince. Tank and Spank, thunderstorm adds
Skarvald/Dalronn. Kill Skarvald then Dalroon. Pretty easy.
Ingvar. Spread out in circle. Pop elementals (mix match of earth/fire). Waited until timers were down to 20 seconds until they despawn then pulled. Killed him for 1st phase without cooldowns besides ele's.
Before he got rez, I dropped elemental's again for fresh batch and popped EM/Trinkets/Hero to blow him down.
Azjol-Nerub. Done at 72
Krik'Thir. Pulling the adds in front starts fight. Not too hard, just blow through big guy first and drop stoneclaw's for first/third batch. 2nd batch you won't have stoneclaw cooldown up. Blow ele's and cooldowns on boxx. Pretty easy if you can last through the adds.
Hadronox. Pulling the guys starts the fight, take your time though. Kill the first pack, 2 more packs come out, but don't come at you. Randomly a mob non elite will come up, but you can rest between each back. Much more elaxed then first boss. Don't take too long, the boss fights his way up to the top once you pull that first pack. You can see him at bottom. I basically just killed the packs fast without resting, then rested to full mana and boss was at top attacking a crap load of bugs. He was at like 50% and i popped ele's and cooldowns and blew through him pretty easily.
Anub'Arak. Make sure you go inside the circle or you'll get locked out and can't dps him. Just spread out. dps till he burrows. Kill the adds. continue dps'n him when he unburrows and heal when needed. The spikes are annoying but overaul don't do that much damage. Drop stoneclaws if you are low on health for the add phase so you can heal back up before u dps them down.
Anh'Kahet. Done at 73. (right after I finishec Azjol)
Elder Nakox. Sat in doorway in view and casting range so the adds would come in front of me and not to my rear. Popped elemental's at start (mix and max) but waited until they had 30 seconds left before I pulled. This allowed me to pop them a 2nd time half way through fight. He hits fairly hard so without doing it this way I wasn't able to take him down. Just kill the guardian bug when boss goes immune and continue dps. The non elite adds will die from thunderstorm/ele's..
Didn't have a chance to finish up instance. had to repair by time I figured out how to knock down first boss and was pretty tired so hit sack after repair
One thing for sure is the instances seem to be faster in general, but also a lot more mobile files compared to bc.
currently 77, planning to get 80 tomorrow night, maybe afternoon..
I did a lot of quests, and I'd like to do more, the "breadcumbs" and collections quests is just a miserable time, so I gave up and plan to sit in the hall of stones for the next . . . 16 hours or so

Just finished up my nexus attempts for the night.
Omorok - piece of cake. I just leave my whole gorup on /follow, zoom camera out, and use left / right straffe passed to all toons when the spike pop. Just watch for spell reflection!
Anomalus - also easy. Nuke down the rifts when they spawn, I just drop consecreate for any of the little mobs that spawn out of the rifts and focus back on the boss. Groudning totems + chain heal helps.
Telestra - a real pain in the ass. I didn't get her yet, but I think i will next time with a few adjustments. The fire bombs are targetted AE, spread your team out a little before you engage. The rubber band is on a timer, I reccomend opening up with full dps / blow coodlowns etc ... if your dps is high enough you can get her to split (50%) before she rubber bands you. During rubber bands instant casts are the name of the game ... use shocks, riptide, ns + heals, heal pots .. when you land quickly regroup and heal up. I really think a small amount of resist gear would help here also .. with just frost aura I resist the ice blocks about half the time.
Keristraza - not tried yet of course.
UK - 70 - No problems till last boss. Can kill him first time and drop ele's while he's being rezzed but always die to his huge aoe blast. Tried to kill him 7 or so times, tried running behind the larger of the pillars but have not been able to finish him with just the 5 shaman. First boss, I drop 5 fire ele's before I pull the guys in front of the boss. Grounding totems eat those spears in the dragon room, btw.
Nexus - 70 - Telestra & Anomalous down. Anomalous is fairly easy, doesn't hit hard. Those rifts that you have to clear as your working your way can be dps'd without pulling aggro from the other mobs. So hit from a distance before engaging the other elites while clearing trash. Telestra...love that fight. I open with dropping 2 earth and 3 fire ele's (done it with 5 fires too), all specials and shock while flying, heal after it stops. The ele's usually pick up her copies and they go down pretty easy. It's real funny to see 5 shaman and a few ele's flying through the air, LOL. Omorok killed me and didn't want further repair bills so only tried him once.

Lvl 76 - First two bosses of Utgarde Pinnacle, The waves on the third make too many resists and when I get to the end of the pathway, I'm already too low on mana.
I'm so bored, going to grind my lvl 77 in Gundrak, need fly mount to get to other instances.

I went in at 70 with a tank with 8k hp and shaman with 400 spell dmg, so UK was pretty painful and all I did was the first boss a few times. At 73 now I'm mostly out of quests, other than a few here and there and a bunch of collection quests I don't feel like doing. Although I'm spending 12-15 hours at each level due to a lot of world pvp, bg's, explopring, etc... I'm figuring it to be a good 8-10 hours of pure questing/instance grinding... I just don't get how you guys are so fast

Meathead are you running instances with only 4 toons? If so pug a fifth dps/healer it should make it alot easier.

I run a mixed class group with two mages, so I can CC my way through some ugly pulls.
Tip for first UK boss in UK, macro /target frost tomb then /cast instant high dmg... I can avoid all tomb damage to any toon. The rest of UK is straight forward for my group build.
I hit 75 yesterday and through the collection of gear and proffessions my warrior tank is sitting at 20k HP buffed! So any real tank and spanks are quite easy now. I ran into Gundrak last night on a whim and was able to take out the Mammoth and Snake bosses no problem. The mojo elemental just does too much nature damage to my group to survive, guess I need to read up on that fight to see if there was something I missed. I did get the necklace quest reward from Gun, highly recommended and easy to get if you can kill the two side bosses.
Overall my PvE experience has been pretty fun, except I am finding way too many collection quests! On a PvP note, I did take over Venture Bay at 74 by myself and spent some time out there getting enough coins in one day to get what I wanted from the vendor... the torpedo quest was a pain until I kicked up my draw distance on my followers. No need to go back to Grizzly Hills!
I suppose I should go check out the other lower instances, at some point. I figured the gear would get replace by 75-80 instances so I wasn't too concerned. The tanking quest rewards for the Sea Lion in ZulDrak are exceptional, if you have a tank class.
I will be taking full advantage of rested exp on any future teams I pull up to 80, I just don't feel that after spending most of the past week putting in 14 to 16 hours a day and only getting to 75 on my primary team was an effective use of time.
Oh and I got to use the last of my RAF time on a batch of DKs! They were 60 when they left the starting area, as opposed to 58.
