Well i have been duel boxing for awhile now lvled a warrior from 1-67 in about 2 weeks using a 70 mage, and lately my wow just seems to screw up sometimes graphics wise and i cant seem to figure it out.

What sort of FPS are you getting and what spec is your computer? It looks to me like an issue where you're running out of Video RAM.

with this new patch i can run regularly with about 120fps and 2boxing at around 50fps each.

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6850 @ 3.00GHz
Win xp
NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS 512
2gigs of ram

idk what it is exactly cause i ran on the same comp 1-67 and the only problem that would occur one in awhile was when i tabbed it would make the wow i tabbed into extremely magnified.

hey i see that you're 2-boxing a warrior with a 70 mage. now, i have a 70 rogue and i want to dual box an orc warrior. i was thinkin' about doin' it with an equal level resto/dps shaman, however, is it easy to dual-box with a 70? whats the best way to do this?

glbv, ever dusted your machine? To me it just reminds me far too much about physical damage to the graphics card. What I recommend that you do is that you either try out some other games or applications that require a bit of work from your graphics card and see if you get similar artifacts.

If you do, then I suggest that you hand over the graphics card to a rapairshop and ask them to replace it if it can't be repaired.

Hopefully I'm wrong about my suspicion, but you never know...

i saw a similar effect recently. to fix it, i had to force a repaint.. so i opened and closed the map ... full screen repaint. worked... back to normal.

i don't see that behavior with any other games and hadn't seen it on wow until after the last patch

*shrug*

well opening my world map doesn't seem to fix the problem and a old problem seems to have started up were going from one wow to another one will cause one of the wows to literally spill off my screen making it so i cant see the the bottom or right bars.

These are the settings i play at for both and usually sit at around 50 fps was just wondering if they were to high or if i didn't have something necessary checked.

have you fitted any aftermarket heatsinks to your Gfx card? is the fan working?

this looks a lot like the artifacts I used to get when my radeon 9800 fan packed in and I hadn't realised. Replacing it fixed the problem (card is still being used in a 2nd PC after 4 years ;) )
