Currently lvling my DK and priest. The priest is tailoring and enchanting. The DK is just herb, the reason i pick this is because i can see herbs on the mini map when i have to do herb quests (so helpfull). Here is my question I want my DK to tank for end game, with each proffesion having there own special thing

leather working = enchant bracer
herb = hot
enchanting = 2 x enchant rings
tailoring = ??
blacksmith = socket hand
engineering = good helm (which i really don't like how they look)
alchemy = transmult and neck
skinning = ??
Inscription = shoulder enchant
Jewlcrafting = jewls
mining = ??

what will be the best of the 2? So i can start saving away to start power lvling it when i am 80 or close to it. I know that ellay said that he is going with leatherworking and enchanting cause they give him the most dps. Should i also take up these 2?

skinning = crit increase

Mining = stam increase

Taloring = has something like a cheaper made leg enchant and also increase the drop rate of cloth WOOT.

As far as what benefits a tank I would argue what ever gets you the most stam. The Increased effect from flasks from alchemy might do it. Or the jewelcrafter specific gems that are pure stam might do it. Jewelcrafting also gives you something like 2 +60ish stam trinkets.

It all depends on what you want to do- make money, gear yourself, etc.

As a side note, anything you make that's green and above as a leatherworker your priest can DE, for enchanting and selling. :)

If you go leather, take up skinning until you have all the leather you want/need, then powerlevel enchanting. Enchanting is going to be expensive, no matter what, tho. You can get heaps of leather in the Howling Fjord.

I'm JC/Enc on my DK. Infact, on my Paladin too. Those trinkets are HUGE. Even moreso in Wrath, because now those trinkets have sockets! Add some sta to rings and you're good to go. Also, when boxing instances I prefer to just DE it with the tank, than move someone over and loot/de or use master looter. Much more converniet to just DE it myself.

:( Sort of looks like it might be good to go JC and BS... which are the 2 biggest pains to power lvl. I guess like at 80, i'm going to have to do a ton and ton and ton of mining to get everything. Well hopefully unholy becomes the best tanking spec cause i can use that extra mount speed to get all the nods.
